Q: Good morning,

Can you give me your thoughts on lassonde industries. It is a company you do not hear much about but the historical stock performance has been impressive to say the least.What does the company's financials look like ( ie debt, yield,safety as well as future growth in dividend, payout ratio etc) as well as future growth for the company.

Would you recommend taking a position at this time.

Q: You mention that HCG may be a good play post Brexit. I note that they had two substantially reduced dividend payments in 2014. Are you aware what the reason for that might have been? Just wondering if there is anything on their horizon that might cause that to happen again?

Q: Hi 5i team

Any thoughts on the possibility of Magna working for GOOGL and/or AAPL? I have read a few articles on this. How far down the road might this be?

Q: Hi 5i,

Say you were to sell shares of CXR.TO in a Canadian Dollar account at a loss and then purchase shares of CXRX.US in a US dollar account. Am I right assume you cannot claim the loss for tax-loss selling because you are ultimately buying the same security?

Q: A question was asked by Guy about the Ex-dividend date , a minor clarification would help, there are two dates: the purchased date and settlement date. So is the ex-dividend date the purchase or settlement date which three days after the purchase date. Thanks.
