Q: I have about 22% of my portfolio in tech and would like to trim back. QCOM makes up about 3.1% of the total and NVDA, 4.3%. At this point would you sell one of these or sell some of each?
BTW, my other tech holdings are: CSU (3.8%) KXS (2.4%) SHOP (4.2%) GOOGL (3.5%)
Thanks for everything you do!!
Q: Thanks for the timely reply.
As a follow up question, and since QCOM reports this week, what percentage of its business is tied up with Apple? Who are the top five customers and specifically % of sales for these top five QCOM customers.
Thanks again!
Q: Hi 5i, I've moved some cash over to a US account. Can you suggest 3 or 4 US growth names you would lean towards adding for 2017? I'm looking for pure growth / don't need dividends. Thanks.
Q: You've said this stock is expensive. What do you think of the citrus tweet which dropped it so much on Wednesday? If you were going to shift money to a different stock in the sector (aside from AMD which I also own) where would you put it?
Q: I see that you like QCOM a fair bit. I have considerable cap. gains in NXPI which I am waiting for the year rollover to trigger. First, what percentage would NXPI earnings be adding to QCOM if it were to go thorough today? Would QCOM be good choice as a replacement? Also, would this be the way to play this or should I wait for the deal go through? In comparison I am thinking QCOM will be a fair bit less volatile. Is this a fair assessment?
Q: Hello, if you had to choose between these 3 companies for US technology exposure, which one would you select? This is for the long term (>3 years). Thank you, Gervais
Q: Hello I5, I have US$ to invest and looking to select one or two of CSCO,HPQ, GLW T and PHG for income and some capital growth. I would appreciate, your suggestion, perhaps, can offer another one. Many thanks for your help.

Q: Qualcomm has had a nice run up - do you think its a good long term hold or would you sell and buy a Canadian Tech company (e.g CSU / Kinaxis / ESL)? I realize a small profit if I sell now. Thanks, Neil
Q: Hi! I hope yesterday was fun :-) Re Qualcomm (QCOM, I wondered if you had any thoughts about the class action suit, announced yesterday by Harwood Feffer? There's no further info on either company's website, and I can't gauge how much of a threat it is... Do you have any information? Thanks, as always! kate
Q: There seems to be a growing number of Qualcomm buyers. Do you have any opinions in terms of Growth and Performance ? Is this a Buy and Hold , a Seasonal play , or has the Easy Money been made ? Happy New Year !
