Q: Prospectus was received indicating IPAY ETF is being acquired by ISE Mobile Payment ETF run by ETC. Prospectus indicate ISE Index have the same investment themes as the index followed by IPAY. Specific constituents and weight may be differ. MER of ISE ETF will be .60% which is lower than IPAY (.75%).
1) The proposed reorganization is expected to be a tax-free transaction for federal income tax purpose. Would this be applicable for Canadian shareholders too? Or do we need to wait from a ruling from CRA?
2) What are your thoughts on this reorganization? Any red flags?

Q: Perhaps this is a silly question but I will ask anyway.
I see in a previous answer to a IPAY question that the 5i team considers this ETF to be liquid.
A recent market call guest has now made this ETF a top pick twice and it does intrigue me.
However , the volumes are very low. Many days are fewer than 1000 shares per day and almost always under 5000 shares per day traded. I do not consider these volumes to be liquid.
My question is. Is liquidity on a ETF somehow different than on a individual stock ?
Do you still consider this ETF liquid ?

Q: Hi,
I already own some MA but I want to add more exposure to this sector. Which of these companies would you suggest for a long term hold with minimal volatility? (I'm not sure why why my TD webroker trading platform lumps CRM into the same category as the others but it does?)
Is there a credit card ETF you like?
Also, are there any equivalent Canadian stocks?

Q: Hi 5i,

Knowing that the US is not your focus, I would still value your opinion.

I have 30% of my portfolio in cash sitting in a USD margin account and I would like to invest in etfs for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100; could you please suggest etfs that do not pay any yield? I am also looking at IPAY and IWO for some diversification, would you be okay with this? Would there be any significant overlap in all these etfs? What percentage weighting would you have for more growth, medium to high risk tolerance and long term hold ?
