Q: One third of my non sheltered account consists of shares in ATD.B, CCL.B, CSU, and SJ. In the last month the TSX is up about 3+%. In the same period these stocks are all down (13%, 5%, 6% and 8%). The only common thread I can see is that I own them. Do you have any insights that explains the not inconsiderable under performance of the share prices of these stocks in the last month?

Q: Hello,
I currently work for a company that has a share ownership program where my contributions are non-tax sheltered, while the matching contribution from my employer is tax sheltered. Starting Jan.1st they are now offering an option to have my personal bi-weekly contribution go into a TFSA instead of the non-tax sheltered option. Seems like a good option to me but I'd like to get your thoughts/comments before I make a decision. Thanks!

Q: Why do you only show CTC.A (non-voting). Is there a reason one shouldn't buy CTC (voting) other than that CTC.A has a better yield? I assume you don't believe owning non-voting is a big deal.
