Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: I have several small cap stocks which are significantly down in 2022. I need to harvest some tax losses. Can you rank these in on a scale of 1 to 10.....#1 being "Sell for sure", and #10 = "speculative hold for possible recovery".

Q: Wondering what has happened with this company. It is now in US funds and no longer halted. Noticed some trading yesterday and today none. Will this be difficult to sell and do you see this trading again. If it does I'm assuming one should sell. Would there be any point in hanging onto it. Also, if no one is buying/selling what is process for getting rid of it to claim a loss? Thank you!

Q: Hi,

Can you provide general comments on D2L's latest earnings release please?
Specifically, any concerns about their 3 month and 9 month adjusted EBITDA (loss) and their updated financial outlook? Other released financial metrics appear to be positive.
Is this still a long term buy?

What is your take on Andlauer's early warning report released Dec 7, ie..."agreements to sell an aggregate of up to 1,760,000 subordinate voting shares in the capital of the Company ("Subordinate Voting Shares"), representing approximately 9.64% of the issued and outstanding Subordinate Voting Shares, for investment purposes."
Almost 10% is quite a lot of shares is it not?
Is this still a long term buy?

I don't currently own any of these shares but they are on my short term watchlist.

Cheers,
Steve

Q: Kraken Robotics has had some significant contract wins lately, including an $8 million contract with a global energy company, a $14 million contract for their undersea batteries, and today a $50 million contract with the Royal Canadian Navy. The stock has roughly doubled in the last 5 months, but is still well off its all time high. The market cap is up to about $115 million. Wondering what you think of this company as a high risk, small investment? Their Q3 showed ytd adjusted EBITDA of $4.4 million, and getting close to reaching profitability with a net loss for the quarter of $0.5 million.
