Q: Hi team,
I'm a happy shareholder of this company, whose Q4 results yesterday showed much potential and a solid balance sheet. However with talks about the 35 trillion or so U.S. debt ,and Trump wanting a "audit" of Fort Knox gold holdings(not done since 1974),what could be the implications for the price of gold and would the U.S. dollar be "devalued".Seems like the entire fiat money system is at risk. With all this uncertainty I,ve added to my holdings of AGI.
Many thanks for a great service.

Q: I currently own LUG and AGI, and am looking to add.

My reasoning follows. Both companies just announced stellar financial and production results. LUG's average 2024 sale price/oz was $2462, while AGI's was $2379. Given that gold is now trading above $2900 and providing it stays within +/- $100 for the entirety of 2025, cash flow at both companies is going to rise substantially.

Two questions:

1. Would you be comfortable adding to a position in these names at this time?

2. Do you have a preference between LUG and AGI?

Thanks as always for your expertise.

Q: For precious metals exposure I hold the above. I have been frustrated with BTO and was wondering if there might be a couple of mid-tier producers with a gold bias that you could suggest as a replacement.

Q: Hi Peter and gang,

I raised this question about a week ago but it seems to have fallen through the cracks.

Please comment on FCX which hasn't been doing much of anything over the past 3 years. Is it a hold, buy or sell now? If indeed it is a "sell", please recommend a replacement in material/mining sector.

As always, much appreciated.

Q: I received WGX shares in exchange for my KRR shares, when KRR got taken over. The WGX shares have not done very well, but I have been hanging on to them for now, thinking that this poor performance may just be due to the reshuffling of shareholders that often takes place whenever a company is bought, but I'm starting to have doubts.

It is hard to do research on WGX because there doesn't seem to be much information out there, other than the WGX website.

Do you have a feel for how substantial this company is, i.e. how good is the management team, how good are its resources and its plant and facilities, how sound are its finances, etc.?

Do you think it would be wiser to hold on to WGX for now, or to sell, and wait to see how everything works out?

Q: I am a holder of HBM for over 5 years in my non-registered account. Can you please give me your read on the latest news, especially regarding the weak guidance. Is the stock currently oversold or will there be further downside. I know you have long favoured CS over BHM, is that still the case after the correction in HBM and do you feel a switch would be a good idea going forward. BTW, I would like to remain invested in copper.

Much appreciated,

Francisco

Q: Hello

Asked this question earlier but did not see a reply.

Just wondering if, in a rising gold price environment, would a covered call ETF benefit from increased call option premium income? And, if so, would this offset the increased risk of missing capital appreciation as a result of the underlying security being called away?

Q: We never owned any Gold companies, but, looks like, some exposure is warranted, given a so much uncertainty, as a result of constantly changing rhetoric of Mr Trump and Trade/Tariffs tensions.

Do you agree ?

Is Agnico Eagle a decent name for the sector and would you be comfortable starting a new position in Agnico Eagle, after Today's drop ?

Thank You
