I accumulated these Jr Golds prior/during the 2016 Gold run up. Obviously, too many. I would like to reduce the Jr Gold Cos. to 2 or 3. I do hold KL and FNV also. GRP as you know is Silver.
How would you rank these on a risk/reward spectrum?
Secondly, how does this current gold run 'FEEL' to you?
Q: Hi,
could I get your take on the latest quarterly release please for AEM? There were a lot of charges/impairment loses which I find complicates things when trying to determine how the company business is doing.
Fundamentally, was this is positive quarter? Also, what caused such a large impairment loss? I see they reduced the goodwill on 3 mines. Does this mean they paid to much for these in the past?
Thanks,
Dan
Q: Hi 5i team
I have a 2% position of TECK.B that I did not sell when you adjusted your BE portfolio. I am thinking of selling it but only if you think I could have better performance from one of the following BE stocks...I am missing from the Balanced Equity portfolio AEM, ATD.B, BYD.UN, GC, SU,...I have but could top up CCL.B, MG, PBH, MX. All other BE stocks are at acceptable levels. This is in a RRSP account and I plan to hold for a while. No worries about sector weightings. Thank you, Hope you had a great family day. J
Q: 5i, Is the merging of these two companies good for someone currently holding THO?, PAAS will pay $3.40 per share for THO stock, and THO today is around $5.00.
thanks
Q: What do you think about Gold Money's latest Financial report? They have no debt and $1.71/sh cash and are trading at $1.65/sh. Is it a good buy now?
Q: I have been with NMX since 2015 and have made a lot of money. Bought at .33 sold at 1.85. Bought at 1.09, sold at 2.25. Bought again at 1.09 and still have 50,000 shares. I believe the stock will go to $5.00 once the mine is finished in 2020. The price has been solid lately but the fist sniff of bad news people panic and sell at a ridiculously low price. They are close to finishing the project. The product is in high demand. Batteries are the future. I feel very confident in the company. Should I buy more?!
Q: FNV, KL and AEM appear to be your current favorites in the gold sector based on recent responses. (Feel free to correct this.)
I have AEM and am trying to decide whether to add a bit more or sell it and get something else. The risk-reward calculus of FNV as a royalty co looks pretty attractive. Would you switch? Which of the three is your favourite overall?
Thanks!
Q: Please comments current status of AGB. I bought in at $1.80 over a year, it just go up and down, didn’t break out like other gold stock. Is it worth keeping or sell? Any debt? Ownership%? Cost per ounce produce? grow potential? Valuation improves? Cash flow, revenue, when report earning? If you didn’t like AGB, would recommend other better junior gold stock? (I own WDO)
Many thanks
