Q: Could you please tell me why Ahf,aston hill is dropping so much.
There must be some kind of reason for a drop of 20% in a couple of days.
Yesterday there was an unusual high volume as well.

Q: On Feb 13 “Boston Pizza International Inc. announced today that it has declared and paid dividends in the amount of $5,000,000 to the shareholders of record on February 12, 2014”
I am wondering 1) as Boston Pizza International Inc is a private company does this information need to be disclosed? and 2) how does this effect Boston Pizza Royalty (BPF.UN)

Q: I have owned Badger Daylighting(BAD) for many years. I now own almost 3,000 shares. My gain on this company is over 66,000.00. This represents 4.68% of my holdings, 4.34% is in a Rif. and .28% is in a TFSA. Question: Do I take some of this profit and invest in other stocks or just hold. If I sell what do you recommend. IO am mostly a divided stock holder. Thanks for a great service.

Q: What are your thoughts regarding Equity Financial's (EQI's) news release today? The news that mortgage portfolio growth will be "nominal"/flat in 2014 is quite negative, is it not? Is it your view that the negative impact of this news will be offset by Smoothwater buying up the shares?

Q: This is not a question as much as a comment. GIL has been a long time hold and I agree with your comment "solid, well-managed company" but I rate it slightly higher than B personally. According to INK/TD; insiders have sold $15.5M with CFO selling $7.7M (some even as price dropping). Even tho I can't get my preferred Covered Call, I'll try to reduce my cost by a $1+ by selling some 4 5 wks. I know timing is not your thing but I thot some readers might like to read this. Interested in Amaya Gaming AYA. Do you have any information on when it will be reporting earnings and what analysts are expecting? Is there a key date that information will be released from the New Jersey gaming industry generally which could impact Amaya. Any general comments on how you see it progressing with US states supporting online gaming?

I hold this stock in my RRSP and have done reasonably well with it, my objective for the stock is LONG TERM income and growth. Stock is down >5% this year and is my biggest loser so far this year. Should I be reconsidering my position with this stock?

Q: Hello,

I would like to purchase Stantec in my RRSP account and I noticed that they trade on the New York stock exchange. I believe the Canadian dollar is going down. Would you recommend to buy this company in the states or should I get it on the TSX? Is it a good time to buy it at the current level or is the growth going to slow in the coming years? Many thanks

I have a small position in Rifco and also in Carfinco, the later one pays a dividend, is Rifco a higher risk ? should I sell Rifco and put in Carfinco for both dividend and lower risk ?
