Q: Any ideas where the bleeding on CUS (Canexus) might cease? Book value? I am not averaging down yet, and prefer not to, but it is often the only way to dig oneself out of a deep hole on worthy cmpanies.

What are the risks this could get very much worse and averaging down would prove perilous? I suspect a divvy cut may be priced in here. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Q: Hello 5I,

I would like your thoughts on Trimac Transportation. TD have just raised their recommendation from hold to buy. They suggest that the results for the qtr have been positive and management have commented that the weaker cdn dollar will help the company.

You have not been asked for your comments since last summer and last reviewed the company in Feb. 2013. I would consider buying the company as a long term hold with the view of a sustainable dividend and some moderate capital appreciation.

Could you please comment on LIQ after their recent earnings announcement and subsequent price declines. Should one continue to hold the stock, noting that it is becoming more difficult to hold for income with each gap down in price.

Q: FSZ (Fiera)has two large shareholders (Natl bank and DeJardiens) as well as having a meaningful stake owned by management......resulting in a small float. Do you have an opinion on why they have not taken the company private and do you think that they may do so in the near future?

Q: Hi, I was fortunate to hold some gold stocks over the last few months. I'm not sure if I should lighten up now - the thesis being that they are no longer substantially undervalued and most of the gains have now been made.

The stocks are TMM, BTO, MND, AR, Teranga (Also have SLW and G and CEF.A but consider these long term holdings). These are up about 30% - 150% this year. Overall weighting of all holdings about 15% of total portfolio. What do you think?
