Q: Hello great team. Amaya is in a strong bullish trend in all time frames according to BMO. I am holding 6.9% within my Portfolios along with most of your other PF choices (both PFs). My question is; should I ride this a bit longer? AYA was a bit stuck for a while but is rising nicely again as I am sure you know. Any news? Thank you for all you do. I am doing well with your Q and A's and best of all "makin moola"!

Q: Good Afternoon, Have held CVL for awhile, ok performance/dividend. Considering a switch to BIN considering that it should exhibit better growth prospects given the current Western funk. Would you agree with this move? Thanks
Q: I have done surprisingly well with my two pizza holdings... both are decent for income too . You recommended bpf.un .
Do I really need 2 pizza shops ? ... Would you advise that I drop one ?
If so , which should I keep ?
Or should I keep both ? ... or should I cash out completely ?
Is there a seasonal aspect to Discretionary-Restaurant ? I own A&W as well.

Q: Hi Peter & team
Have learned to take most of the guests comments on Market Call/Tonight with a grain of salt often thinking conflicts and ulterior motives may be in play which, by the way is what makes 5i so valuable to all of us.
Having said that, Colin Stewart who I have grown to appreciate has provided some very accurate commentary in the past had some very positive comments re RPI today.
So I took a look at some of the metrics in play... Debt/Equity ratio 0.59, Price/Cash Flow 9.38, Price/Book 1.92 and Book Value/share is at 6.81.
There doesn't appear to be a ton of debt, the dividend is excellent, and as Colin said, this is a fairly recessionary proof business that generates good cash flow.
I am surprised there are not many questions on this company in the 5i forum... especially looking at it's recent performance - up almost 10% today.
What is you opinion? Why no interest from the membership? And would you consider RPI a sell/hold/or buy at this time?
Thanks for all you do
Gord

Q: In your answer of Nov 12 2014 you suggested that spending now for future growth is keeping the share price down. I would like to now when these new projects will contribute to price appreciation and possible dividend growth. How save is the dividend at this time.
Thank you for your terrific work

Q: I would like to diversify my portfolio and I am looking at WSP, CCL.B and BIN. I would appreciate your opinion on which of these companies you would buy at their current valuations I am leaning towards purchasing BIN since it is very different from my other holdings but I see that it is trading near it's one year high.
Q: Peter
Could you give an opinion on RPI_U
Thanks, Peter

Q: I own CMI at much higher levels but to date I am fine continuing to hold with the comfort of their cash position until you report on the company again. It has been almost a year since your last report on this company. Can I assume a report will be out soon. Thank you for your reply.
As a side note I was hoping you would comment on TARO.US earnings in my last question as I thought they looked good but the stock continues to decline since they came out on the 10th.

Q: I am currently working on ensuring that my portfolio is balanced in terms of asset allocation. This exercise is revealing to me that I have no coverage in healthcare and seniors' services. When I look at the companies you've rated I don't see any in this sector that have a 5i rating of B- or better. Are there any?
Q: My only REIT - AP.UN - seems to have gone into hibernation, from being the top performing REIT for the past few years (highest combined return) to seemingly losing all momentum.
I am looking at flipping it for HR.UN that has a larger market cap $6.7 billion vs. $3.0 billion, higher yield 5.6% vs. 3.8% and more positive overall TA numbers for the short and long term prospects.
Do you endorse this switch?
Thanks.

Q: Could you tell me when QST issues their next quarterly report, and what are the expectations. What do you think of the risk-reward on this stock at this point. Thanks.
Q: Hello Peter & Co,
In one of my previous questions, I had asked which of BIN or MAL to replace CHE.UN in the Industrials sector (6.0% of portfolio); your answer was to add BIN because the exposure to the sector could be increased. Fine!
My portfolio also holds CNR, BIP.UN and STN; they fall on the larger "industrials" umbrella. With these holdings, my exposure is at 12.4% (vs 9% in the TSX).
Would this clarification change your answer?
Thanks,
Antoine

Q: At these levels, would you consider gamehost ok for a smallish position in an RIF?Thanks!
Q: HCG is down over 20% since i bought it in July. It's in my TFSA, so I can't do a tax loss sell. The questions is, should I just wait it out and hope for the best? I understand the question is basically not how much I've lost, or even whether or not i can recover it, but whether the ( seriously reduced) money would be better off somewhere else. Thoughts?
