Q: I own the above and while I am underwater somewhat I thought holding was probably the right thing to do, but I have to admit that all the talk about oil and job losses in Alberta is weighing on my mind.
I am thinking that a lot of mortgages are going to fail and not only in the West but with the job fallout in the East too. So I would like to know what you think of selling hcg and buying enf. I only hold efn in the financials, no pipes or even telcos at this point. What are your thoughts please. Thank you for being there.

Q: Enbrodge is in your balanced and income portfolios. I would appreciate your explanation why you feel this is the best stock in the pipeline space.

Q: Hi guys. How do you view the fact that HCG announced in the Q3 earnings call that it is planning on continuing a normal course issuer bid going forward, yet the CEO Solloway has sold 40,000 shares in the past week? Realize that he still owns approx. 3.5 M shares. Do you guys view this as cause for concern or just bad optics?
Thank you
Thank you
Q: Could you give an opinion of the fmv of the shares? Is applying a 15 p/e based on earnings growth of 15-20% too conservative or simplistic or should one focus on other metrics like roe etc? I own these shares and they have been on a nice run the past 3 weeks. I am leaning towards just holding for now. Thanks.
Q: Just a comment: Peter Hodson's opinions on Market Call Today are nice;y summarized at http://www.stockchase.com/expert/view/119
Q: Hi 5i,
Just an FYI. This is a quote from a press release I found on Globeinvestor in the off chance some people might have missed it: "Amaya intends to use its investor relations website as a means of disclosing material information to its investors and others and for complying with its disclosure obligations under applicable securities laws. Accordingly, investors and others should monitor the website in addition to following Amaya's press releases, securities filings and public conference calls and webcasts. This list may be updated from time to time."
If others have passed this information along, just disregard it.
All the best,
Cheers,
Mike

Q: I bought a small position in HLF and up lucky enough to be up 40%. It's a pretty volatile co. Should I sell all, some or buy more?
Q: Hi team, HLF seems is coming back to life. Any reason you know of? And you think the upside is sustainable?
Thank you!
Thank you!
Q: Hi,
Could you please comment on RDM Corporation's (RC) earnings release this morning and if there any insights from the conference call? The earnings looked good, but the stock is down 10% this morning.
Thanks,
Peter

Q: Hello Peter and 5i staff,
Thank you for your recommendation of Enghouse . We sold a portion as it was overweight in our portfolio. [ 3 bagger ]. We would like to add another growth stock. We were thinking of DHX or AYA. What are your favourite names at present?
We just renewed our subscription today for 2 years. Great value and great advice. We look forward to seeing Peter on BNN today. thanks again

Q: I'm down 3-5%+ on the following over the past few months. That's not a lot and I don't need to sell them but my trading background tells me to sell them and move on. So I need your steady hand. Would you sell any of these? Thanks
ISV, SPB, GH, FSZ, IPL ( I own VET, AD, EIF and 10 more)

Q: I see they are reporting in early December. Is it advisable to start a position now or wait - or is there no preference? You mentioned they have long-term contracts; would that imply reasonably "secure" forecasts and have you an opinion on those? The stock price lately has shown no direction.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: I thought BIN would be a low volatile stock { there will always be garbage, right } . I'm down 15% and looking to replace it. In the industrial sector I have WSP,BYD.UN and BIN. I am looking at CNR, MDA or RBA. Which of my 3 ideas would you pick or do you have a different choice. Thank you.
Q: Would you recommend buying this stock at this time
Q: I am under weight in the technology sector. From your portfolios what technology stocks might you recommend at this time (I own DH)? I am good with either income or growth stocks.
Is there a stock not in your portfolios that you may recommend over the others?
Thanks
Paul

Q: wich do you prefer it or aya
Q: I currently hold my maximum in CSH, SIA, NWH.UN, & DR. I plan to increase my present position in EXE to match those other holdings.
Is this a reasonable approach? Are there other names in the sector that would be preferable to increasing my EXE?
TIA. William

Q: I have just reviewed your report on WiLan. I have a small position on this stock down about 50%. Would it be worthwhile to just hold the stock for a year or so and see what happens. Don't need the tax loss, thanks
Q: Is the reason for this stock's demise over the past couple of years solely related to activity, or the lack thereof, in the oil patch? The dividend has kept me hanging on while I wait for a recovery. You have often referrd to the company's cash reserves so should I still feel comfortable that the dividend will be paid and wait for oil activity to recover?
Thanks for the insight.
Paul F.
