Q: Hi Team.
In view of the current market rotation, cyclical stocks are performing better. Could you identify three US and three cyclical Canadian stocks that could still outperform in the new environment. What sectors other than finance will benefit from the new administration in the US.
I value your opinion.
Thank you
Raouf

Q: A recent Globe & Mail article recommends investing in certain American defence companies, based on the assumption that military spending will increase regardless of who is elected. They cite the high growth areas of “aircraft, shipbuilding, missile defence and precision munitions”. Their recommendations include RTN, GD, LLL, and HRS. They also mention BA, UTX and LMT but don’t rank them quite as highly. I realize you follow Canadian stocks more closely, but I was wondering if you had any preferences among these names, or if an ETF like ITA or PPA would be preferable for diversification and safety. Thanks very much again for your expertise.

Q: You recently touted United Technologies (UTX) as having good growth potential. I currently own General Electric (GE) and have long wondered which of the two has the best long term growth potential. UTX has come down a lot more than GE in the past few months. Is this a time to swap companies? I don't require either stock for income.

Thanks for the insight.
