Looks like AC is down 6.5% this week. I can't find any news that would cause the drop. Oil prices??

Q: The recent chart for AC showed unremitting decline so I sold to lock in my gains. Also, I was concerned that rising oil prices would mean increased fuel costs for AC going forward. What is your outlook for AC ? Will the potential pilots strike at WJA have any effect on the price of AC ?

Q: Algonquin Power which I hold looks like on the chart like a set of stairs going to nowhere. Also, Air Canada is not much better. Do you see any hope for these 2 companies in the next 6 months? When I tried to type in the stock symbol it would not allow me to put it in.

Q: One of the things you don't get investing in airlines is peace of mind. That being said, I am up substantially on Air Canada over the past few months. I am always watching to see if the steam has run out of its stock rise, however, and it has been trending steadily lower now for the last couple of weeks. Can you tell me if there is any company specific or industry news I've missed which might suggest a problem? Would you recommend this stock today?

Q: The 8% gain of the Cdn dollar over the past few weeks could have a huge impact on stocks like NFI and others in a negative way.
With the Cdn dollar on a terror lately what sectors if any would stand to gain from this currency move and what would be two individual stocks that you think could gain by the US/Cdn exchange rate moving closer to par.
