Q: Hi, Riocan has been quite strong lately (up 7% in 8 days) which is not normal for this stock. I don't see any news. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Q: Hi 5i Research Team
Hope you’re having a wonderful Monday.
Quick question on Netflix (NFLX). Shares are around ~$90 and I’m debating whether it makes sense to start a position ahead of the next earnings release.
What are the key bull and bear drivers you’d be watching?
Is there anything in expectations/valuation right now that makes the risk/reward especially asymmetric one way or the other?
If you were interested, would you treat it as a starter position vs. a larger bet, and why?
Appreciate any perspective you can share.

Q: Hello Team 5i & Everyone,
Just wondering if you have any comments or if you can share which data/charts you’re currently keeping a close eye on with the US markets regarding the looming removal of the independence of the US Fed? I watched Powell’s video response up on the Fed website and am inclined to agree with his assessment of the situation.
I realize there’s no point in guessing, however I would not be surprised to see Powell replaced when his term ends in the Spring by someone who is keen to cut interest rates regardless of what the economic data is advising. I would also not be surprised if this sparked a sugar rush in markets and a rise in inflation. But we’ll see what happens, I’m sure there will be more developments before then.
Living in interesting times isn’t all it’s cracked up to be it seems.
Thank you,
Sandra

Q: Can you please comment on the current valuation of Aritzia? I know that they keep upping guidance, so valuation metrics are changing. How high do you see this stock going this year? How is it valued based on FY27 metrics, and how does this compare to historical valuations? This company is a beast. Thank you
Q: Greetings,
ZDC
1) The inclusion price into the 5i portfolio was $2.15 so congratulations on that pick!
However, has ZDC run out of steam or would you say it's temporary?
2) Do you think inclusion into a 5i portfolio immediately adds momentum to a stock?
3) Am I missing something but it seems to me, the company is a "one trick pony" with not much of a moat. What's the appeal here?
Many thanks!

Q: Let’s say you’ve done well on gold, with a combination of miner (AEM, WPM) and bullion exposure (PHYS).
You see that gold has had a “parabolic” rise as 5i mentioned in a recent response. But still believe in the story and want to retain gold exposure.
You’re comfortable with position sizing.
With where the market is today, would you do nothing (keep a roughly 50/50 miner/bullion split) or move to overweight bullion to lock in some gains (on the theory that miners are leveraged to the downside as well as upside so if gold drops the miners would drop harder)?

Q: Is it time to switch from PRL over to TSU? TSU looks to be getting close to breaking out to an all time high and a trading range that its been in since 2021.

Q: In a response to Howard today about ENB, you refer to US oil companies viewing Venezuelan oil as "investible", while I think Exxon referred to it as "UNinvestible". That's a big difference. Was it only Exxon that had concerns?
Thank-you
Thank-you

Q: Clarification on my question on copper stocks and ETFs.
I copied and pasted that question. I am not sure how those numbers appeared.
My question was about investing in the metal itself and was not related to a specific stock.
Thank you.

Q: Hi Team,
I was thinking of trimming my large position of Shop to buy some Grid. Return potential wise for say a 10yr period is this a feasible idea? My thoughts are that Grid being so much smaller might have more multi bag potential than shop at its current mega cap status.
Thanks,
Shane
