Q: Every time there is a quarterly reporting, there are a flurry of questions seeking your opinion of them.

While there may be annoying aspects to this, I do find it useful.

Whenever I read a companies PR release on earnings, everything seems fantastic to me (until I look at market reaction and see negativity where I thought all was roses)

Could you give a short (3-5?) list of the most important figures to look for in order of importance in your opinion so that I can do a realistic down and dirty evaluation on my own immediately?

Q: Ho, I'm looking to take a few aggressive growth positions that have been beaten up lately and hold them inside my TFSA, I have $40k to play with, this is what I'm looking at,PHM, PUR, IT and BOS. please let me know your thoughts and if there are other positions you would consider more attractive.

Q: Hi gang. Enghouse has now run up to 17% in a so called balanced portfolio. I pleaded with my broker to let it run since April. I will sell a half positing 500 shares. I was going to add Descartes or Kinaxsis. Your thoughts and suggestions beside half of each? Thanks for all you do for us. I will renew today. David.

Q: BCE has been one of my better holdings over 10 years. Today they announce a bought deal and the stock is already below the deal. My last experience with Mr. Market when this happened was with FM and I got killed. I thought I was being smart when I bought FM at 15 dollars because the market had a bought deal north of this around 16.50 I believe. Should I be concerned?

Q: Hello, Further to my previous question on adding to to my positions in AYA, ATD.B, CCL.B, MDA and DSG, should I buy them now or wait until the end of December after tax loss selling? Do you think they will be victims of tax loss selling?

Also, if I have enough to add another two names would WSP and OTC (from growth portfolio) be a good decision at this time with the 5 I'm adding above?

I hold BMY with a very nice dividend/gain, but notice that you seem to favour MRK. May I have your comparison of the two companies? I'm thinking of switching some money from BMY to MRK..... or maybe putting it all on NVO?
