Q: could i please have your opinion on (gs) gluskin sheff. its been on a downward trend for the past two years. pays a nice dividend. great job peter and staff!
Q: My dilemna: I own Genivar(GNV)which has been a poor performer this year.It currently faces headwinds from integration of the WSP deal and has been touched , if not directly implicated, by the Quebec construction scandal. However, barring any scandal revelations, my guess is it is near a bottom and provides a good dividend. In retrospect STN was the way to go (wasn't a 5i subscriber at the time), but it has run up a lot recently and I wonder how much remains and the dividend is much lower.
What would be your recommendation - take the tax loss on GNV and buy STN or wait on GNV and collect the 7% dividend.
Thanks
Q: I would like your opinion on Alexco AXR, and your thoughts on companies like this who sell future production to companies like Silver Wheaton. Thanks
Q: What Mortgage Investment Corp (MIC) would you recommend at this time and what might be the impact of a slowdown in housing and/or rising interest rates on the MIC?
Q: Z ZIllow Doubling up on my Q here! Zillow seems like a very practical model for making money from the internet or at least one I can get my head around fairly easily. It had a hiccup recently and will probably suffer from tax loss selling. What do you think of the company longer term?
Q: GLN Glentel just made another purchase in Wireless Zone and after contemplation the market is given the stock a pop. Your last view was a hold thru Christmas. Still seem the best idea to you?
Q: Davis + Henderson (HD) Payout Ratio 103.7x (TD) is this correct ?? IS THIS HIGHER THEN DESIRED FOR SAFETY ?? Does it mean that need to loans to pay their dividend. I have a problem understanding payout ratio. I would like help on this.

Q: Good morning. I would appreciate your opinion on Shaw (SJR.B). I do not expect a lot of growth but I would consider it a long term investment for income. Thank you for a very useful forum.
