Q: I hold approx 5% of my portfolio in O&G, and this is split 60/40 between Imperial Oil/Whitecap. Historically, I have found IMO relatively safe. However, with IMO now at a disappointing 5 year low, would you recommend selling it and replacing it with either more WCP or with another O&G such as SU or CNQ? Thank-you.
Q: Hi,
Recently they are raising equity @ $6.40/ unit. Is this price attractive and reasonable to increase my portfolio position from 2% to 3% or 4% or I wait sometime then add? I checked with my Brokerage bank who is one of the underwriter of this equity issue, and was told they are sold out. Is it one of the indication that their will be less chance of a sell off in the unit price?
Thanks

Q: Hello,
I have an RRSP account that I have made 40% this year and it is now in cash of $45k. I want to just invest in something the prevents or keeps losses to a minimum due to stock market corrections for the remainder of the year. What would be your recommendation for this money be for safe keeping while generating some return?
Thanks,
Rick

Q: Do you have any crystal balling as to where the company is going after the FDA's decision on their new drug?
Q: Hi,
I've just converted a significant amount of cad to USD. This is cash I plan on deploying in the event of a market correction. In the mean time, I am looking for a usd vehicle to park my cash, with the primary goal being capital preservation. Do you have any suggestions? I was thinking something like horizon's HFR etf-does something équivalent exist for USD? Please advise if such an etf exists, and what your preferred vehicle would be.
Thank you
Karim

Q: Hi team,
I wanted to get your opinion on the start of my son's RESP.
BYD 30%, GUD 40%, PHO 15%, CRH 15%
I recently added CRH on what I viewed as a value play, however I'm not sure about this move. Would you swap CRH out, and if so for what? Any suggestions or tips are appreciated.
Keep up the good work. Cheers

Q: Hi team,
CSU reported record earnings and a dividend that would normally see its share price propel upwards. Instead, as I write this question the share price is dropping. What am I missing?
Thank you ,
Bash

Q: Seems like this company is doing all things right, how do you feel about it, the latest earnings, and a 2 to 3 year hold.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
Q: Update
Q: I'm interested to try and look for a REIT that has exposure (existing or planned) to provinces with low power costs and industrial space near major transportation hubs in the anticipation of this type of space being used for Marijuana related manufacturing. Know of any goodd candidates? If yes, how do you feel about the current valuations?
Q: What could make the TSX and NASDAQ drop over a hundred points in an hour at mid-day on no news?
Q: Gordcorp has a decent quarter, but the price is dropping. Should I add more?
Q: Doing the tire-kicking here on your service (have received magazine for years)...looking over the company reports, at what point to you update them - every 'x' years or if there is a material change to the company? So when I see a company that has a report a year or two old, is that because nothing really has changed regarding the company or you just don't update them every year? Thanks.
Q: What just happened to the TSX over the last 2 hours? Is someone running algorithms looking for stops?
Thanks
Ian
