Last week you answered my question regarding investing $40,000.00 outside my RRSP.Thank you.
Next and last question, is now the time to invest or should I wait and if waiting,where should the TSX be when I invest.

I see a lot of bio/medical service stocks are being taken to the woodshed today for reasons unknown. I plan on selling a bit of AYA and building my holding in GUD to a full position (5.1% of my total portfolio) and then not touching it for at least 3 years. What do you think?

Q: What do you think of the recent developments at Knight Therapeutics Inc? Their New Drug Submission has been accepted for review by Health Canada and they have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Ember Therapeutics.GUD seems to have dropped 7% in the last couple days on the news. It seems to me the news was positive but is there something I'm missing? Thank-you for your service.

Could it be possible that the drop in CSU is not merely profit taking but rather a reaction to the recent news about a shareholder with over 1,000,000 shares? Could you explain and comment on this news released on august 5th?

Q: CSU has fallen dramatically in the last week and I can only attest to 'one' proven fact -- the Frank Effect. My brother purchased this stock this week, and true to form, every time he purchases a stock, it plummets. If you feel it would be of use to your members, I would be pleased to share with everyone when Frank wishes to buy shares in a company -- in that way, we could all avoid some serious losses in our chosen companies. I am concerned enough about this stock market phenomenon, that I make a point of having a portfolio diverse enough from his. Share if you think it's important. : )

Any idea why Constellation Software is going down quite a bit and do you see any concerns? Thanks

Q: What market data sources do you use for company financials and general company information such as market capitalization? There seems to be a big discrepancy between providers. For example, Morningstar shows the market cap for TOG as approximately $800MM CAD where as Yahoo Finance shows $1.1B CAD. This can have a material impact when computing metrics such as price/book value.

Looking for any comments on this O&G for a 3 year hold. Recommended on BNN yesterday. I'm concerning the Iranian oil arrival may cause a decrease in prices in next few weeks. Is it your view that a headwind will result and I should wait another month or two before jumping in on this one?

Any other recommendation for 3 yr. hold instead of ZEO?

Q: If I may ask a follow up question seeking further clarification to my query from yesterday.
As I interpret your answer, now is the time as good as any to deploy new money; instead of holding on to the cash until the new year.
The second part of the question is where I request some clarification. The question is about the market. I am looking for your opinion on what would lead(define) the market going into 2016? Will it be the small mid caps in the growth portfolio or companies in the balanced portfolio? Is it going to be Wells Fargo or the Russell Index? Is it Magna or is it AirBoss and Intertain Group?
I have a mix of the Balanced Equity and Growth portfolio 70:30 and the new money will not change the mix by much. In your opinion what kind of stocks will impact the market higher over the next 6to9 months?

Q: Great article on Constellation Software CSU and its founder, published in April 2014. In case anyone's wondering whether CSU is going to run out of possible acquisitions, the article notes, "...the company says it has a database of 10,000 acquisition targets."
