Q: I have held it for many years and am wondering whether I should sell into the market or wait for the possible takeover . And if I do not sell and it is not taken over, I don't mind keeping it in my portfolio, if you rate it a good hold regardless.

Q: I have a $20,000 C.V. 5.5% Dec 2018. In view of the proposed takeover of Aecon, should I exercise my option to convert to common shares, and if so, when would be the appropriate time to do so ?
Q: Following the arrangement between ARE and CCCC International Holding limited, shall I sell my share as soon as the price is close to 20$ or wait an automatic transaction between the two companies?
I am wondering about the mechanics and if the deal is firm.

Q: I have a 650 share holding in Aecon ,with a 20% gain? With stock trading roughly $3.50 below the takeover price , do you recommend holding on with the optimistic view that It will receive government approval ? And will it be difficult to get over the net benefit to Canada hurdle?
It seems like the Chinese company is carrying some baggage.
Thanks for the great service.

Q: I consider WSP and STN my core holdings but now due to excellent appreciation they represent 7% and 3% of my portfolio. ARE has been a laggard and represents 1%. Q: Could you compare the prospects of these two companies going forward

Q: Market reaction on the previous earnings report for Aecon, AutoCanada and Brookfield Asset Management brought me unpleasant surprises and the price of stocks substantially dropped. This makes me nervous as we approach the new earnings season. My questions are:
1. Would you recommend holding the above listed stocks or perhaps selling some of them?
2. In general, shouldn't it be safer to sell all stocks a week or two before earnings, an buy them again later?

Q: If we believe all we are hearing there could be a lot of government spending on Infrostructure both in Canada and the US. With this in mind how would you rate the above companies for growth in the next 2 - 3 yrs? Which would be benefitting most from US expenditure? Any others you would prefer?
(If this is more than one question - OK) I always appreciate your good advice. Thks.
