Q: Good Day 5I. I`m glad I didn't sell this stock when it dropped down to 10.00 1 month ago. I Know there has been some good news with new contracts and the possible sale of its technology division but does this explain the surge in the past month of over 50%? Are Options Traders Betting on a Big Move in Chicago Bridge & Iron (CBI) Stock?

Q: Hello 5i. I'm overweight in CBI and have taken a big hit (35%). Stock sits in my Lira account which I'm unable to touch for 10 yrs. Would you recommend I sit on this and hope for bounce back with possible infrastructure bill to be passed or take my hit now and move on? if so, what would you recommend to replace stock with in U.S. or Can? Please offer 1 stock on each side of the border.

Q: I purchase some Chicago Bridged & Iron @ $16.00 and did an open covered call at $17.00 and got $1.75. I thought this was a good trade until the share price fell off a cliff lately. What do you think about CBI .... medium & longer term

I'm currently underwater with Chicago bridge & Iron (cbi)approx. 25%. stock has taken a beating since reporting less than stellar earnings with a weak outlook for the rest of 2017. I know the energy sector is a big reason for this. Although I have a long term view 2-3 yrs for stocks in general, should I ride this out or should I take my losses and move on? If so, can you suggest something within the same sector US or CDN exchange.
