Q: Is it too late to buy SCL? I started watching this company in early February, and was trying to pick up shares just below $40 but it never got to my purchase price. I have been watching it go up higher and higher ever since, and now it is over $60, that would be a 50% gain had I been able to buy at my (stubborn) price of below $40.

How strict on purchase price should I be when I decide I like a company and want to buy its shares? Should I be rigid and stick to my pre-determined price, or should I just buy at market price once I decide to acquire a position in a company (with a minimum of a 1 year hold)?

I still like SCL, and wish I had purchased it when I made the decision to buy some shares. Should I just buy SCL now at $60, or give up on it since it has had such a large run up, and find something else I like?

What is your current opinion on DOL (Dollarama)? I currently hold DOL and AYA for consumer discretionary exposure and ATD.B and CCL.B for consumer staples coverage. Q: I bought Aecon (ARE) about six months ago. After a very healthy gain it has come back down lately. Given that I had regretted not taking a larger position initially, this may be an opportunity to add to my position. Can I please get your views on ARE, assuming a 5 - 10 year horizon. Thank you!

Looks like CCL.B is off a bit these last couple of trading sessions. i only have a half weighting in my portfolio so was planning on topping ti up. Is there any news or other 'issues' that you see requires waiting?

Q: ITP Intertape Polymer has recently had a 22% pullback. What caused this pullback in price? It's EPS is zooming upwards to + 1.50 and it's had a huge runup these past 3 years from $1 to a high of $15.62. With a yield of 2.88% and PE of 7.44. Would you recommend this stock and what price would be a good entry level? do you see it at support at it's present price of $12.19 or do you think it will go down to $9.00? thanks for your thoughts, Jan
