Q: Hi 5i,
What would you do with First Solar given the factors behind its recent plummeting? Is it an outright sell? I can afford to take a 3-5 year view with it, if it makes sense to do so. I am down substantially on the position but it is in a registered account so there is no tax loss angle to it. Nominally I think of the holding as part of a relatively small speculative pool within my portfolio so there are no real sector balancing consequences one way or another. Grateful for any thoughts. Thanks!

Q: I have a question about 552
Hi Peter,
Can shareholders of the cheaper B stock attend the annual general meeting and if yes do you need to own a minimum number of shares. Given the pullback today would it makes sense to buy? Thanks as always.
Looking forward to seeing you and the team at the money show this week in Toronto.

Q: Your current opinion on these 2 companies in the US for a buy and hold investor? They have a good track record on dividends, the payout ratio's are not out of control and obviously a proven long term track record. On the more aggressive side, what is your opinion of HCP ?

Q: Like most avid investors, I look forward to reading Mr. Buffett's annual shareholder letter he writes as Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway. While I admire the man and his philosophies, I've been pensive about being a shareholder. For someone with a 10+ year timeframe, is Berkshire Hathaway a good investment or is it risky now that Mr. Buffett is likely to be replaced by his successor?

Q: Calavo Growers - bit of an obscure name but as a U.S. fresh foods provider (mainly avocados) with a good growth rate for sales, earnings and dividends, a good balance sheet and insiders owning over 10% I was wondering whether you'd have an opinion on this one. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your service.

Q: Today Enbridge Inc. (ENB) announced they are purchasing Spectra Energy Corp (SE) in an all stock deal.

I own Enbridge in my non-registered account (in order to take advantage of Canadian Dividend Tax Credit) and I own Spectra in my US $ RRSP (in order to minimize taxes on US dividends which are treated like interest income).

I want to participate in both the Canadian and US energy infrastructure (pipeline, midstream processing) market.

My question is what can I replace Spectra Energy in my RRSP with? I own Kinder Morgan (underwater), Oneok (above water) and recently sold off Williams (too much drama) in the RRSP account.

Am I better off to sell Spectra now or wait for the Enbridge merger and then sell off the Enbridge or even keep Enbridge in my RRSP as a US holding. Or do I increase my holding(s) in Kinder Morgan or Oneok?

Thanks for the excellent service.
