Q: Good morning 5i. Looking for 2 solid industrial plays preferably in U.S. but would consider Canada as well. What recommendations can you make for good growth 2-3 years time frame.

Q: I have a well diversified (thanks to you) portfolio of Cdn and US equities. I have a long term horizon, am comfortable with risk and do not need income (although its always a bonus). I have been sitting on some US cash equivalent to half a position and wondering
1) am I best to be patient and hold the small amount of cash
2) or fully invest it and if so, what you would be on your "shopping list" today for US stocks with greatest upside potential.

Q: I hold the following ETF’s in a Non-Registered account. It is sort of a general purpose portfolio with a bit of emphasis on the health care sector (just because I think it is coming due). My question is with additional cash to add should I look for another ETF or add to the existing ones? I guess I am saying do I need more diversification or is there another particular sector I could emphasize?

Q: I currently hold CVS and am down 21%. In a response today to a question about WBA, you indicate that a switch from WBA to HD would be okay given the structural change being brought about by AMZN on the purchase of Whole Foods. While the person asking the question had a good gain on WBA, would your response be the same for my position in CVS?......thanks....Tom

Q: I have a reasonable gain of about 35% on this stock. However the pending acquisition of Whole Foods by Amazon has hit many retailers short term. I am pretty good at holding stocks through "noise" but I am considering taking profits here and moving on, in particular to Home Depot or Wyndham Worldwide. May I have your thoughts on this possible move. Thank you. Bill

Q: I don't currently have a stake in the US technology industry, and am thinking of using the recent pullback as a good entry point. What do you think of the US tech sector for a long-term hold? Could you comment on using XQQ to meet this objective and an appropriate percentage allocation? Are there any other TSX/CDN$ ETFs with large holdings in US tech that you would recommend instead?

Q: Hello Your A rating and recent report on Cineplex using the word "Monopoly" got me interested in the Sector. Would purchasing shares in AMC Entertainment be worse, equal to, or better than buying Cineplex given the lower valuation of AMC and scale that AMC has? ceteris paribus on the dividends and exchange risk aside.
