Q: Hi Guys
knowing that its the price you pay for a stock, that in the end determines how much money you make. Just curious why you wouldn't have picked up this stock in January of 2017 when it was trading at around $9.00 dollars, with a P/S of around 1.8x and a P/E of around 27x
Looking at it trading today at $55 with a forward P/E around 190x it seems it will take along time to grow into its price, and if it doesn't the risk on the downside could be a disaster. I know in 2000 there were a lot of stocks that never did grow into their pricing.
Thanks ! Gord

Q: This past February, I purchased the following 3 stocks: NOU; VMC; and FLT. At the moment, each is down 51%. I have capital gains I would like to offset in my non-registered account, by selling at least 2 of these stocks.
Which one of the 3 stocks would you be inclined to hold onto, for at least another year?

Q: Hello 5i team!

Kindly provide your analysis of recent earnings results and management commentary?

To what do you attribute the stock price drop?

You have previously mentioned an overhang in relation to unresolved legal dispute. What is the issue? Was there any reference to it in the earnings release or management commentary?

At this time what is your 1 to 3 year medium for this stock price?

Thank you for your helpful and knowledgeable analysis and opinions.

Q: What is your opinion of WEF's quarterly numbers? Down from Q2 but still pretty healthy? Market doesn't seem to like it even though the company appears to have net cash on the balance sheet, is buying back shares and pays a small dividend? Guess it is better to buy a company that is only a concept and has steady losses and MAY make money some day in the future!!

Q: Hi 5i Team - I am considering selling my shares in Martello for a capital loss and possibly buying it back after 30 days. In your opinion is there anything that could move this stock forward in that time period. Also I am wondering if it's really worth buying back at all. Could you provide some fundamentals including cash position, level of debt and insider buying or selling. In the past you have mentioned the high pedigree of management. Does that still hold. Thanks.

Q: Hi guys

I have had a 1% position in NEO for quite a while. It is has recovered a lot this last year but it is just above where it was back in 2018. With all the talk of a expanding onshore production of keep compounds/components, the shortage of rare earth minerals and the future with renewable energy I would have thought NEO would have performed even better. What do you see in NEO's future e.g. is the business unique and scaleable? do you see the company as having margin & pricing power going forward (or is it like any other commodity play), do you see it as a company that has a good runway ahead of itself and thus can increase it's market cap? Finally in terms of increasing my position, do you see it as fully valued at 19.29, or do you see value at this level and might add to it up to 2% weight?

Much thanks

Stuart
