Q: Thinking of investing in US drug company GIL. The whole sector seems hammered which I think may be a result of the US presidential race...I'm more of a " Tell me what they're up to " kind of investor as opposed to earnings per share and how many of their last quarters they've beat......Would like to know the good and bad about GIL ..... And one important factor... Are they in any way effected by the various state sponsored opioid lawsuits . I don't want any where near any of those companies. It looks like they may be in a lot of trouble. .... Of any country's drug companies would it be 5I's choice ? If not what would be 5I's current favorite ? Thank you for your sound advice......

Q: The CEO/founder has applied to put all of his 52% ownership of the company up for sale. I understand insiders selling a part of their shares, but I've never come across selling all of them. My first thought is some company disaster, but I imagine, in that scenario, an insider would feed them slowly into the market to avoid suspicion. Your opinion please.

Q: Hi 5i,
I have some USD set aside to purchase Pfizer (PFE:US) and have a window of up until about Aug.5th give or take, having missed the latest dividend. So, I am in no real hurry. My question is: should I just proceed and purchase now or wait to see if there is any kind of pull-back presenting a better entry point between now and August? I see it has continued to grind higher over the past while.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks!!
Cheers,
Mike

Q: As the opportunity arises, I need to lessen my overweight position in SIS. Would SYK be an attractive substitute in a sector that, like SIS, is right for the times as the general population ages and are increasingly in deteriorating physical shape. Is there any other company with these dynamics that I should look at?
