Q: DHX and TKM
I am considering purchasing one or both of these stocks. I notice they are not in your model portfolio, but they are fairly well-known and I would like your option on them. Thank you.

Q: Hi Peter and crew,
I am a recently subscribed member and like what I have seen. Thanks for the good work you do and the information you provide. I particularly value reading your answers to members' questions. I do research, manage my own investments and use a discount broker. I favor dividend payers with reasonable growth prospects and try to keep my total number of companies to 10. I have all on DRIPS. I know I am currently over-wheight the resource sector but believe each holding is in a strong and growing business and believe the next few years may be better than average for this sector. I'm interesting in any comments you would offer on my present holdings which are CPG,BTE,PKI,WCP,AFN,ESN,NA,ALA,TD,and BAD. Thanks for your help.

Q: Hello,
Is it OK to buy odd lot shares, to maintain a certain percentage in portfolio. Are they harder to sell? I have so far tended to buy in multiplies of 100 shares. But sometimes this tends to overweight a certain share in the portfolio because the share price is higher to start with. e.g. The etf "IWO" costs $145 per share therefore this occupies more than 25% of my kids RESP portfolio. Thanks fro your advice. I am learning a lot just looking at the question and answer section each day. cheers, Shyam

Q: Hi 5i,
I am looking for Companies that would benefit from the updating, and repair of the US electrical infrastructure.
With the possibility of terrorist targeting the electrical facilities (Apr 17th attack on the PG&E Metcalf Power Substation, San Jose), coupled with the damage done by acts of God (floods, hurricanes, etc) and the latest winter outages, I believe Companies involved electrical contracting / repair would make for good investments.
Another sector would be Companies that supply the components to fix / upgrade the power facilities.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Michael

Q: hi what's your opinion on AKR Ackroo. They seemed to have turned things around under their new CEO. Seems cheap.
Q: I have a question on Concordia Healthcare (CXR). I know it is a recent IPO and is probably too early to have enough information to make a confident judgment. However, just looking at the chart, it appears that this may have been an IPO which was priced too low. Could this be the case or is it just that it is in a hot sector?

Q: Hi Peter & Team,
You have mentioned your favourite U.S. ETFs are IWO (Small Cap) and VIG/SPY (U.S. large Caps, I think ?). I have not seen much mention of U.S. Mid-Cap and Micro-Cap ETFs in your responses. Can you let me know which ETFs you would recommend for these and is there a reason why they are not your favourites as compared to IWO/VIG/SPY ?
Thanks in advance.
