Q: Hi. Not sure if already asked & answered ...

Shouldn't 5i ratings update over time ?

Sure ( BDI , EQI , MDF , STN , BYD ) had ( A , A- , B+ ) ratings ~ 12 months ago - but it is unlikely they should be rated the same today, right ?

Or does 5i assert that they update anything that needs updating ?

Q: Rona (Symbol RON on TSE) is undergoing some major changes to its board. Some major shareholders have forced this upon them. The company`s stock (and financials) have underperformed in large proportions compared to its competition like Home Depot over the past few years. The new person in charge is Robert Chevrier. Would you know anything about this individuals mgmt style, his ability to deliver? Any thoughts about the company over the mid to long term with new management? Thanks again.

Hi there. I purchased DFN awhile back thinking that with such a high yield and relative correlation to the TSX that it would appreciate with the Index when it turned around - but this is not happening. I certainly can't complain about the yield, but the the idea of the purchase was to see share price appreciation with the TSX in general. I know my description of the components is over generalizing...but you get my drift.
Should I sell this stock and look into another area - if so which area that you cover would be a suitable replacement?

Q: Peter is PNP a buy.It seems to have lost a lot of value in the last year,but they keep buying companies.They report that their value is approx $1.70.They seem to own a lot of gold,silver etc.Would they have a chance to increase in value from. 0.95 cents on long term 12 months or so.You and your staff do great work tks.

Q: peter, my question is regarding Tree Island Steel ltd ( T.TSL), as a way of playing the US housing recovery.during the last housing boom of 2004 - 2006 the share price was impressive.also, it seems to have weathered this most recent downturn very well. do you like this company why or why not ? please elaborate. thanx norm
