Q: DGI: Data Group.
1. Has the monthly dividend been cancelled? I have not been paid but do not see any announcement that it has been cancelled.
2. Is this totally dead money?

Q: Earlier in the week was going to take a position with Twin Butte (TBE) @ $2.21. Today it sits at $2.02. Is it ok to dip my toe in or should I expect some more pullback as a result of their recent problems. Cheers - Chris

Q: Pki, totally disagree on your pki comments, when a company misses on earnings it almost always means trouble ahead, so many other great opportunties out there, why hold this one and i sold mine, still made great money.also dividend increase was minor it was irrelevant.
Question is because you gave it a b rating why would you maintain a b rating,please do not do a wilan again. Dave

Q: Hi 5i. I see in Oct. you felt Ivanhoe Energy was a lottery ticket. I would like to know your opinion of it now that they have sold their China property, straightened out there debt issues and CEO Robert Friedland has purchased close to 7 million dollars worth shares (public market purchase) in the last couple months. Q: Hi, Peter and team,

A year or two ago, a friend and I were dsicussing the US financial sector and came to the conclusion that as long as the stock did not "die", it should bounce back as time goes on. Based on this thesis, I started research on a few names e.g. BAC, MS, Wells Fargo etc. and was ready to take the plunge. Then I heard some fund Manager on BNN saying that the US banks were still risky although the PE, Price to Book..... look good because nobody really know what's on their books exactly. That stopped me cold on my track.
Fast forward to now, all the US banks have leap and bounced to recent new highs. My big question: should I "chase" these stocks since their fundamentals (e.g. P to B) still saying they are "cheap"

First, let me say that I think your investment research subscription is a fantastic value for the money. I love the question and answer portion, it answers many of my questions without asking.
That being said, I got my butt kicked on PKI today. Sure didn't see that coming. Did I miss something? Do you still feel that PKI is a good selection? Of my TFSA it is 10%...should I pick up some more on sale? I like monthly dividends...safe?

Q: Hello, I noticed where Perpetual [PMT] has a NAV of $1.84 yet closed today at $0.86. Should that be interpreted as a buying opportunity? I realize they are mainly a natural gas company and are suffering the affects of a low commodity price. Your comments are appreciated. Thanks - Ron

Q: Hi folks, interesting report on Equity considering the fragile Canadian housing market or are their mortgages more business related than residential. How would you rate the risk factor between investing in Equity versus Firm Capital.
