Q: Hello Peter and Staff

I rode BPF.UN too far down but have sold it wondering if franchisees will make it to the other side

So far I have kept AW.UN and KEG.UN. Aside from the concern about disposable income needed on the other side to dine at the KEG , do you how the ownership is of the establishments/ franchisee or corporate owned?

Thanks and have a great day
Dennis

Q: I'm looking at the dividend return on the food royalty companies, which look very attractive. I don't own anything in this area. Is there an ETF that holds a bundle of these companies? If so, is that a good way to get in? Or rather, buy one or more companies. If so, which ones. Thanks!

Q: I noticed Cara Operations has been buying shares of these units, they do look cheap right now with a nice div or payout. Has Cara always been a holder of these units and could they be doing a creeping takeover of them? What are your thoughts on the units as part of an income portfolio of 15 to 20 stocks?
thanks Tom

Q: I was talking to my financial advisor about getting into a couple of high dividend securities north of 4% with some growth. They mentioned AW.UN, LIF, CGX, EXE. They said most of them have had a run except for the KEG and they said that one might be the better one. Which ones do you like of this group I have mentioned or are there any that you could recommend?
Thank you, Dennis

Q: Boston Pizza has been declining for the last three months and in particular since the release of the quarterly earnings. What would be your opinion of the company going forward.
Please compare Boston Pizza with A&W and the Keg as to which would be a better choice.
Are there other restaurant royalty companies I should be looking at?
Thanks for the excellent service.

Q: I'm holding a under weight position here and debating on closing it out and adding to my a&w position which would put me to an equal weight there. The fund has been totally silent on the Cara deal and all though the first quarter result showed positive signs of growth it was far from reflective in the share price. I am wondering if the Cara deal is not being viewed in a positive light for the fund.

Q: Hello Today every stock in my portfolio is on a positive uptrend as most are income stocks .Not so with keg down substantially with no news.
Since this debacle with cara has happened keg has not put out a single note to units holders on their website and the stock is down substantially .
Can 5I comment on both the stock performance and the Compaies attitude towards it unit holders
Regards Stan

Q: You answered a similar question about 6 weeks ago but with the market sell-off I am wondering if the restaurant royalties are decent buys now. Can you rank A&W, Boston Pizza, and the Keg. Thanks.
