Q: Regarding Amaya Gaming Group Inc. [AYA], when I read the news release I noticed the increase in the EBITDA. I also noticed that while revenues increase YOY by 316%, the net 'LOSS' increased 269% YOY. Also, looking at Sedar under Expenses/Financial, Expenses/Selling, and Expenses/Acquisition related Costs, there are a few items that gave me pause. Am I looking at this the wrong way?
Thanks,
Dale

Q: Good Morning Peter and Team,
I have just purchased shares of Shawcor (SCL-TSX). In a nutshell the investment thesis is:
1) We may be entering a pipeline construction / repair supercycle.
2) With Shawcor's dual class share structure gone, it may get taken out.
3) Backlog, financials, and free cash flow all look good.
Could you please give me your opinion of the company. Thanks, DL

Q: What are your thoughts about Ballard Power Systems? Why did it spike up in early March? Is it a good buy now that it has pulled back?
Q: Re: EXE (Extendicare)
Hi,
I was puzzled by the wild ride this stock had in yesterday's trade. Was up almost 10% in the morning and of course way down (28%) by end of day.
Yes, I understand the reason it went down so much later, due to the big dividend cut. However, I'm totally confused about the way some news obviously must have passed around the large number of investors who "knew something was up" earlier on.
Just how and where is this kind of info available, since no news or public announcements were published about the company before this happened.
I am really turned off about this whole thing, how some investors are privvy of confidential info and many others are not. Was there inside info provided and why does it happen so often ? (See most recent price swings for CAE up 10% in one week).
Thank you for your comments.

Q: HI, your thoughts on ELG they have a gold related mine in sweden. Thought i make my own research and rarely do take in account price targets by analyst, i'am wondering why they have a price target around 1.40 for a .30$ stock with this wild variation on gold prices. thanks.
Q: In the past I have held both CPD and ZPR etfs. Given the risk of interest rates eventually starting to move back up. Would ZPR be a better "buy and put away" long term hold

Q: Hi Peter and Team, could you please provide your thoughts on the Whitecap, WCP, news release today and how you think the stock will react in the morning at market open? Any ideas who they acquired from? Will Novus, NVS, by any chance re-act positively to this news release? Thanks!

Q: Hi team:Please ignore my question about the rated returns I have found another printout which clearly explains that the minus returns are the d to F rated companies.
I would like an update on CSS. I paid $12.51. It is $10.90. You would have told "us" if there was anything to know, I am sure, but is this just a buying opportunity? Why did trading stop on WCP today? Trading usually does not stop because they made an acquisition if that's what happened.
Thanks so much. Jean
