Q: Hi Peter.
I currently own SAS, St Andrews Goldfields which is down arond 40% as the overall gold stock group. If i am correct ,seems like there average production cost is 1316$ per ounce, which would be almost double the industry average of 700$.on the other hand ,they have uncerverred high graeds and plan to expand to 125,000 in 2014. What is your outlokk on SAS and would it be a long term HOLD/
Thank you and have a good day.

Q: AStral Media is trading at $50.00, the price of the takeover offer from BCE. Is it time to sell the shares into the market
or will the shares trade above the current price? Is there a dividend to be paid yet? What should I do with my shares?
Looking for an updated opinion on Trimac Transportation (TMA), seems cheap despite recent good performance? Also, I've heard a rumour that they may be looking to take the company private (I don't know how much validity I can put behind this rumour, but I digress..) if they do, is that typically good for existing shareholders (ie. bought out at a premium)? Thanks!
Q: Hi Peter,
after the tragic accident at Lac-Megantic this past week-end, one analyst on BNN mentioned that it would be best to avoid oil sands names and wait for further developments.
Some would argue for the building of more pipelines such as the Keystone , after this unfortunate tragedy. What is your outlokk on holding such names as SU, CNE and WCP? Many thanks.
Q: What's your opinion of Mint Income Funds new 150m Class A issue with regard to the exchange offer on Reits as well as a number of stand alone securities? Good yield, etc! Thanks
Q: Morning Peter and Team ,
how do you see the recent court judgement against Pason Systems affecting the company /stock price medium to long term ?
Is this a buying opportunity or should I wait to see how things settle , and wait for further company reaction to the judgement ? Cheers Carol.
Q: Given the tragic crash in Quebec involving oil on railcars what effect would this possibly have on companies like Crecent Point Energy that transport a lot of their oil by rail with the intention of increasing this? Thanks and keep up the good work. This service is excellent and one of kind available in Canada.
Q: GLN Looking at your last comment on GLN (which was on Verizon coming into Canada) we now have news of GLN entering into a deal with Verizon in the US. Does this change your view on GLN overall?
