Q: A recent questioner addressed the issue of identifying high growth and high momentum stocks at attractive valuations that remain under the radar but have the potential to become investor and fund manager "favorites".
I am wondering if PIH could be such a stock. With increasing share price and trade volume appreciation, and rising growth in revenues/earnings, but attractive valuation (around 11 trailing P/E), am I wrong in thinking this one could start to gain increasing attention? Does it make sense to average up on a stock like this as I have been doing over the past couple weeks (the full position would be quite a small fraction of my overall portfolio)?

Q: I guess I wasn't clear in my last question. Would you please rate these companies as to which would be your first choice, second choice , etc. for a 5 year investment and purchasing today. I have no US exposure but otherwise have a relatively balanced Cdn portfolio and need to deploy US$100,000. Please explain why you rated them as you did. thank you. This was the prior question: What do you think of Int'l FLavours and Fragrances and their latest quarterly results? How would you rate it relative to HD.us, PBH.us and STZ.us for a 5 year investment? Thank you.
Q: What can account for Fridays rise in trading volume and closing price in XAU?Did some metrics milestone get crossed?
Q: We have an overweight position in NFI. It went up like a rocket today and we are leaving for a week's vacation soon. Time to trim?
Q: What are your thoughts about MAL, given the last quarter results. Do you think about growth potential? ... and what are the major future risks? They seem to do well and has high insider ownership. I like the stock but I am looking for what could be the downside. Would you hold it long term?
Thank you,
Thank you,
Q: Are there similarities between toy and dhx ?
Would spin master be something that Dhx media would
look at to buy or Disney? What is the p/e and projected growth rate for spin master and is it reasonable?

Q: Any insight on IRD(international Road Dynamics).
Q: Hi, I've been watching TOY for a while and am really happy with the earnings they just reported. I'd like to pick up half a position only, since it's a riskier stock. However, it's up almost ten percent today. When should I initiate a position?
Q: Could you comment on their latest earnings and the current valuation? The growth seems to be there, but at only .12 USD earnings per share isn't the P/E in the astronomical range?
Q: I'm trying to clarify your answer to Phil. Do you think NFI is still a buy even thought it's at a high? How long do you think it should be held?
Q: Hi Peter,
Much enjoyed your segment on BNN.
I bought some PIH shares a few days ago and was delighted with the bump on very positive earnings report two days ago. The only issue I had with this stock is that it does not have much liquidity. With a good balance sheet, great earnings and an excellent market niche going forward, is it likely to get more attention from analysts and greater liquidity? Also, are you considering it for the 5i growth portfolio?

Q: Given today's earnings report, growth, and the company update; at what price (or P/E) would you consider the risk to be so small as to be insignificant. Even if the strategic alternatives do not work out and even if the shorts persist, is there an argument to be made to a Mr Ackman against backing up his truck.
Q: More M&A going on in the burgeoning programmatic ad space with Comcast acquiring StickyAds today for $US 100m+
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/comcast-acquired-french-ad-tech-102757421.html
As mentioned in the article, Comcast had also acquired FreeWheel previously for $US 320m in 2014
As I understand it, AcuityAds already includes the marketing and technical aspects of a combined FreeWheel and StickyAds. Of course the scale of business is different but their valuation at US $420m+ might make AcuitiyAds at $CDN 33m look attractive to someone. Would you agree?

Q: Can you tell me anything about Stingray Digital Group Inc?
Q: Hi, could you please comment on Kinaxis earnings and its guidance for 2016. Do you believe, this new addition to the Balanced Portfolio is meeting/beating your expectations and showing signs of a long runway of growth ahead of it (early days now). Thanks
Q: In your esteemed opinion which would be a better way to invest in Gold:
1) Buy the Stock XAU, or
2) open a BitGold a/c, wherein you Cash deposit buys Gold at it then spot Price and you sell at whatever Spot price prevails at time of Sale. $ Cost Averaging alos has a play here.
Many Thanks. Austin
