Q: I'm looking at adding these 2 companies to my Canadian portfolio. Do you have any concerns with these 2 names?

Q: It seems to me that the trading pattern of ZCL was very unusual yesterday and today. Yesterday over 200,000 shares traded (about 4X the daily average), yet the price was “contained” within a 1 cent range from 8.99 to 9.00 the whole day. So far today it is the same thing with the price range contained from 8.99 to 9.00. Does this look out of the ordinary to you?

I searched all top picks on BNN’s Market Call, and Market Call Tonight shows for the last 3 years to see how often ZCL was a top pick. It was a top pick three times, but only within the last 3 months (April 8 @ $8.05; May 31 @ $8.69, and June 20 at $9.00). It was not a top pick when it was under $5, $6, $7, and now that it has gone up 40% in a year it suddenly becomes a top pick of several BNN guests. Hmmm. When several BNN guests suddenly make a small company that is not well known a top pick it makes me a little suspicious (could they be unloading after the nice run up).

Reading previous questions about ZCL I see that 5i has liked this stock for a few years. What would you consider a good entry point?

Q: Question 1:Pki has a 5% yield while atd.b is minimal, would atd.b grow significantly enough to overcome the yield difference. If you had to choose one over the other which one would it be? Do you think atd.b will have to do a financing soon?
Question 2: Have you heard of BUS-X Grande West transportation, if so what are your thought on this company, is it likely to be a baby nfi?

Q: Any comments on the deal announced today with HP?

As a secondary question, when deals that have long closing dates (this is scheduled to close in 2017, I beleive) when should we expect the share price to react? Of course it depends on the deal but is there normally an immediate change, followed by more activity towards the closing date or does it all tend to get baked in right away?

Q: Hi, It appears from recent comments that you like this company a lot and it will be a favorite addition to your portfolios, when possible. I had a 4% position ( purchased at $37 and $41.50), but decided to trim over past 2 weeks. I believe that company has a solid growth profile for next 5 years, specially in municipal buses segment in US. They continue to receive large orders. But I am not sure of the recent purchase of motor coach business and its future prospects (could you comment pls). In addition, my other concern is insider selling. Coliseum Capital (L. Adam Gray) the 2nd largest shareholder of the co. has cut their holding by at least 25-30% over past 6 months and continues to do so, as recent as June 10 (243,300 shares @41.01). I think this could be a reason for stock unable to move out of $40- $41.50 range, for past several weeks, despite a very strong quarter and promising outlook. I would appreciate it if you could share your thoughts and is it prudent to wait to add to this stock . Thanks

Q: Napec (NPC-T) was a top pick on BNN last week. Although this is not in your data base would you be able to comment on its debt level, insider ownership, earnings and cash flow. At first glance does it seem like a company to put on a watch list. Thanks.

Q: I bought PIH on momentum a couple of days ago at what appears to have been the worst possible time. The recent price action is a little puzzling, although I know it's not uncommon for a small cap up massively to experience some volatility. To keep the faith I am trying to look for as many signals as are available. One thing I am interested in in particular is insider trading data. Do you see any recent insider trading happening at PIH? Additionally, in general I am wondering how frequently insider trading data is required to be published and what are the best places to find it. Thanks for everything.

Q: I have been planning to by Onex for a while and finally have some cash to do so, however, I noticed that it recently went up from 75$ to 81$. Is it too late to buy? I would start with about 1/3 of a position.

Q: This Co. has excellent EPS grwth on TTM basis, almost 25% ROE, low debt & P.R.. Can you tell me more about their customers and whether this is a good long-term buy right now: dividend grwth & have they bought any co. lately. I need to diversify with an industrial - have none right now.
