Q: Western Forest Products, WEF. Whatdo you think of this Co. It has instituted dividend. Looks to be doing very well. I heard that there is a slow market period currently. I had 1000 shares, which I sold as the stock moved up in price. I want to buy, but looking for a bottom. Is this the bottom, or will it fall further. Any idea about the seasonality.I value your opinion a lot. Thanks.

Q: can you comment on XSR results just out. Revenue growth looks good and lower debt costs helpful. Is this a decent entry point for income/growth investors? thanks

Q: ITP - Intertape Polymer Group has just boosted its dividend by 50% based on a positive outlook and there has recently been some insider buying. Earnings are due out this August, and the last time that they boosted their dividend, their earnings surprised nicely on the upside. This company seems to be a real cash machine; Good, clean earnings with not a lot of accruals. The company has almost no analyst coverage, yet it is approaching a 1B market cap. This company is yearning for outstanding, conflict free analysis of the type that 5i can provide. Will 5i be covering this company in the near future? What did you think of the dividend boost, proposed share buyback, and stated positive outlook?

Thanks!

Q: re: VXS

Have been sitting on this one for a time. Was reported on BNN to begin watching it move beginning of July with new technologies coming on line that only VXS can satisfy and sure enough it is up 25% since June 25 after technically 2 months of flat performance.

I am seriously considering adding a small position. Is there any comments you can provide that might help me out?

Thanks for all you do for all of us

Q: I am looking at Concordia CXR. I know we have to look forward but this company was .96 a year ago, now around $36. It's not where it was was but where it is going but I can't get my head around the $36 price. I see they only have 14 million shares outstanding so that is a plus. But I am afraid as soon as I buy it they will do a financing to shore up the balance sheet and the stock will fall. Please help me forget where CXR was a year ago and think about the future.

Q: Hello Peter and the 5I research team
I am interested in CXR, it strikes me as begin a potentially great company. It has a great management team and a growing line up of drugs in their stable. It also seems to have great tax rate (blended tax rate in the single digits). Now do you see this company as a great take over candidate from larger US companies? I am thinking this company would be a great take over because of the "Corporate inversion" status that an American company could use with it. My guess is if it was a take over target that the take over would come rather, quickly before the US government can close the inversion tax loop. Does this idea sound possible? What are some of the pro's and con's of this company? Would you add it to a balanced growth portfolio? What do you think about a potential take over for this company?

Thank you

Q: I originally bought PPY under $2, so am obviously pleased that it closed at an all-time high of $14.17 yesterday. But it has been a volatile ride! Since they are surrounded by PETRONAS, and do drill some wells with them, do you think it is inevitable that PPY gets bought out by PETRONAS? Underpinning PPY's share price is their huge reserves and pristine balance sheet. I should take some profits, but the story is the best in the natural gas space right now, IMO. Thoughts?
