Q: Hello, I noticed where Perpetual [PMT] has a NAV of $1.84 yet closed today at $0.86. Should that be interpreted as a buying opportunity? I realize they are mainly a natural gas company and are suffering the affects of a low commodity price. Your comments are appreciated. Thanks - Ron

Q: Southern Pacific just seems to be hated by the market. They brought their plant into operation on time and budget (something almost unheard of lately), yet they seem to get no respect. Do you think its a good investment or will it continue to be a pariah?

Q: Hi, would you why, today (Feb 15) Nexen (NXY) closed at $27.63, when CNOOC has agreed to buy the stock for $27.50 on Feb 25? Who would buy it at that price when they know the stock will only be worth $27.50 a week from now. Thanks ... Cal
