Q: Hi Peter, what is your opinion on BNE? I have not seen any question on it. Interestingly, XDV has lots of it (6%)and wonder why. BTW, it pays 3.12 in dividend and earns 1.69. Thanks Karl
Q: Peter, with the growth we have had in Cr Point over the years I feel it is time to lower our holdings in it by about 23%.In order to replace the income from this 23% I am thinking of putting it into Baytex 63% Eagle energy 24% and Parrallel energy 13%. We need the extra yield from Eagle and or Parralel to get the same income we had from it being in Cr, Point. Your opinion please? I feel Baytex is very good. Eagle or Parralel? Thanks Ken
Q: Hi Peter any view or opinion on "ROZ" how speculative is this one, I hear the board has well known members. Is it a lottery ticket and what is the strategic review all about. I have held some shares at .10 cents just wondering if I should move on. Thanks, Nick
Q: I read yesterday's news entitled "Pacific Rubiales confirms oil discovery on the Karoon blocks, offshore Brazil" from PRE with great interest. Your analysis would be highly valued.
Q: PBN (Petrobakken Energy) down again today to 8.85. Yielding over 10% and hitting a new 52 week low, down from over $18 in the past 52 weeks. This stock was once over $30. Is the dividend safe? Is this just a dog to be left alone or is there some value here?
Q: Do you think CCL (Connacher) will survive, go bankrupt, get bought out?
They seem to have a valuable land base production.
The Chairman and Co-managing director just bought 3 million shares in the open market, obviously he is confident they aren't going bankrupt.
Thanks
Q: On the oil side, not one question has been asked with respect to Imperial Oil (IMO). I find that somewhat surprising. It has a low profile, but much stability. What is your take on the stock ?
Q: Hi Peter and Team, any further thoughts on Novus, NVS, and their recent up-date? Any info you can add regarding a possible merger or takeover?
Thanks, Hussein
