Q: I read today that SSO has purchased Claude Resources, CRJ. The market seems to dislike this acquisition, any idea why? I've bought and sold SSO over the years (in fact I used to monitor this stock in our local newspaper for my father back In the 60's). What are some reasons for one stock to soar and the other to deflate following an acquisition? Thanks for everything!!

Q: Peter and team:
What are your thoughts on CG at this time? Would it be a buy currently (regardless of sector weighting). It was sitting on substantial cash reserves last year, do you know if this is still the case? Also are you aware of any political stability concerns with any of their operations.

Thank you for a great service.

Phil

Q: Hi,
You seem to like RIC and it has done quite well lately. Would you consider this a buy or did I miss the boat on this one?
Thanks for the great work you do.

Q: Hello, if I understand the offer Silver Standard made for CRJ equated to $1.65 per share. A 12% premium to today's closing price. Why wouldn't I buy and make an easy 12%?
Thanks for all your wisdom!!

I'm wondering if you think we're heading into a strengthening gold market long term and if you can reccomend a way to invest in it without buying mining stocks.

Q: I see from the details in previous answers that Sherritt's future seems bleak.

Do you think increasing demand for Cobalt could provide a significant enough cash flow increase to make Sherritt a good bet today? See Motley Fool article from June 2015 regarding Cobalt demand for electric vehicles:

http://www.fool.ca/2015/06/04/sherritt-international-corp-could-double-because-of-electric-vehicles/

Any other thoughts regarding buying or staying away? Risk too high, better plays on Cobalt?

Thanks very much

Q: Hi Peter and Ryan,

DNG announced drill results today. What do you think of those results and what are your thoughts in general about the company. It seems to be a nice company off of the radar with no analyst coverage.

Thanks

Q: TV announced today that they were selling a very large chunk of shares. Will this devalue the company appreciably & should I get rid of it considering this devaluation & the state of the metal industry or should I take it as a chance to buy TV stock cheaper?
