Q: Which 2 of these silver miners do you perfer? Would it be better just to buy CEF.A or SVR and forget about the miners?

Q: Good Friday Everyone,

With all the talk about cobalt which one of the following would you look at. KAT has mines in Congo and is more of pure play but is it a good company? Which one has the most upside potential, which one is safe, and which one has the best management? Will you please rank them accordingly? And finally how are do you rank them over all as a comapny?

And one more things, do you have any suggestion outside these?

Thank you for making investing possible for us!

Q: I had a trilling ride this summer! In FR around $12,I couldn't believe how quickly it got to $25,even faster on the way down to $10! I'm still committed to the Precious Metals sector as the world seems exceptionally strange right now...
My question is; A lot of investors 'bought' at much higher levels will there be a lot of overhead resistance as it tries to climb higher? Would it make sense to sell and buy another Silver Co. that will not have as much selling pressure as investors try to break even? (I'm assuming that Silver/Gold may take some time to go higher, if silver is trading at $22 in 3 months then I would think it doesn't really matter)
Thanks for your service!

Q: I have just about forgotten why I bought into the silver craze (FR). It was self-explanatory when FR zoomed to $23. I thought about selling, but blinked--had I bought this as a speculation, or an investment? Now it's back down not far from where I bought in. For context, it's a small holding. I generally buy and hold 5i BE stocks and have reason to believe in the long-term story of my holdings. FR is the exception.

Can you give me an analysis of whether you think it is prudent to hold FR, given the macro environment--and more importantly, why? If silver is a useful 'hedge' for any nasty looming risk or otherwise good to have, would something less volatile (SLW? No etfs please) be better?

On the macro point, I can't piece together what silver hedges me against. As a non-yielding asset it seems to be sensitive to talk of a rate hike (going up when Fed didn't raise rates). But it soared along with gold earlier this year seemingly regardless of interest rates. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Q: I have owned EDR since well before the 2008 downturn and kept it. It has turned around and it is now well above what I paid. I am interested in investing more in gold/silver would like your opinion on whether to buy more EDR or is there a better growth play in silver/gold. I have also owned Goldcorp for several years and am still a bit under water with it. I value your opinion. Thanks

Q: My only precious metal exposure is Silver Wheaton. With the big recovery this year, it's now at 5% of my portfolio. Would you recommend continuing to hold, selling part or all, diversifying into another precious metal holding and if so, your thoughts on timing ? As always, thank you for your valued advice.

Q: Hello Peter,
Do you feel it is too late to buy silver stocks as the run up has been quite good? I am looking at the following: silver wheaton , first majestic, ishares silver trust (SLV) or central fund of canada (cef.A) which gives mixture of silver and gold? Also, do you feel gold standard ventures is a stock that can be held for few years with a hope of increased capital appreciation or possible take over. Thank you.
