Q: Good Morning Peter, I have an 11% weighting in the oil and gas sector divided between five companies. This includes both ECA and TLM. I am significantly underwater on both of these stocks. Is it time to take my loss and replace with one of Vermillion or Tourmaline or some other company? I also hold FRC. Would you hold or replace that one as well?

Q: Do you have any information on INO.UN.? It is starting to look interesting from a technical basis, so now we would like a look at the other side of the coin.
Q: Hello Peter :
I'm curious to know what you think about this:
BlackBerry (BB.TO) recently ousted Thorsten Heins as CEO in November and now has John Chen at the helm of the company. Since that time the stock has been steadily increasing with slow and steady short term growth. Chen has announced a new BlackBerry (Q20) taking the company back to its core business and what it does best...the QWERTY keyboard, which will be released the second half of 2014. Do you see this stock as a short-term hold for a quick profit turnaround until the launch of the Q20 and before first sales numbers are released or would you buy in now and hold for a longer period of time?
Thank You.........Paul

Q: Greetings 51 on this cold, now blustery day.
My question is on Martinrea. Is there any updated information regarding their legal troubles. I note there was a new director appointed in January. What is your opinion of this stock. Certainly it seems to be an excellent time for other partsmakers. Any chance MRE can make strides to join the party?
Thank you

Q: I've done a little screening for good dividend stocks that aren't in the mainstream media. One of these is Mind CTI (NASDAQ: MNDO).
My research has shown me that it has about half it's market cap in cash. The dividend is high, and in most years, it can cover it through all of it's net income. In the most recent year, it's only able to cover half of it, yet they still paid out 24 cent versus their 12 cents in profits.
My question is: what do you think of this company and is the dividend policy sustainable in your view?

Q: Hi
I'm interested in taking a position in the silver market. What are your thoughts on SSO, or would you recommend others?

Q: Another question about BLD. Is it getting frankly ridiculous? Up 250% in two months? 20% today alone after 13% yesterday? I know you've expressed a lack of confidence in this stock, and I know electric batteries have some enthusiasm behind their movement, but I'm not seeing others in the industry rise this swiftly on no real news. Do you have any idea what's driving it and would it be incredibly dangerous to jump aboard?
Q: Do you have any debenture recommendations? What do you think of AXL.DB?
Q: Hi- any comments on the latest financing by ROG? does this reduce the risk ,would you still call it a highly speculative company
How would you rank it versus others in the sector?

Q: Peter and 5I team, I think some of your members might enjoy the efforts of this blogger per Canadian dividends...
http://www.dividendgrowthinvestingandretirement.com/canadian-dividend-all-star-list/http://www.dividendgrowthinvestingandretirement.com/canadian-dividend-all-star-list/
"The Canadian Dividend All-Star List is comprised of Canadian companies that have increased their dividend for 5 or more calendar years in a row. I used the dividend record date to determine the length of streaks."
If you don't feel it's appropriate to be posting publically for fear of a whole whack of links to blogs etc; then I understand. Just felt it was worth it to share. There's lotza good blogs out there on dividend investing for sure. Thanks for creating 5I, it's been a blessing in disguise.

Q: Good day Peter and phenomenal team. "E" Enterprise Group has a halt due to an equity financing with Genuity Capital for 12m shares at $1. What impact do you feel this will have on the stock. What is the upside/downside ramifications of the financing, and the financing at $1.00 as the shares have been trading well above that pricing? Appreciate your answer and all that you do for us "little guys"!
Q: Hi Peter and Team: Thoughts please on Avigilon's (AVO) financial report of March 4. Thank you. Michael
Q: Hi Peter & co,
I have funds to purchase GIC's in my fixed income section of my portfolio. The best rates I could find are with Manitoba Credit Unions. These rates range from 2.2% for 1 year to 3.15% for 6 years. I have done my due diligence on this issue. All funds are 100% insured, no limit to the insured funds. Are you able to comment on the subject.
Thank you,
Mike

Q: Hi Peter
In reviewing the Q&A, the last (and only?) comment that I can find on True North REIT (TNT.UN) was February 13, 2013. What is your opinion of this REIT at this time, for a long term hold? (5 years). Would you please address the fundamentals of this stock as well as comment on the viability of its 9% dividend yield. Can such a yield be truly sustainable over the long term?

Q: I wonder if in your web you could add a column(alphabetically)about the stocks you already have ganswered the question in the past ; so one would not ask any question if you already have answered except some specific reason for.I have noticed many questions that you have already answered about them has been asked before by some one else.Thank you and have a good day

On Feb.21 you made reference on buying PAA. I already had bought some at $11.51 and was quite happy at the results and shamfully egnored it until the other day.I am up 34% but should have taken more. It has dropped. Do you think it will come back up or should I sell now? Thanks for you help.
