Q: Hello Peter! Could you let me know how or base on what site do you allocate name of sector for Canadian stocks.
I'm trying to use sectors from TSE and they do not match your descriptive names for example: TELUS, ROGERS by your description is "TELECOM" but TSE shows it as "COMMUNICATION SERVICES" ,
ENGHOUSE, AMAYA your inscription "INFO TECH" but TSE shows "CONSUMER CYCLICAL", ALTAGAS, IPL yours is "UTILITIES ,TSE "ENERGY".
I want to use the same names of description of sectors as you are using, where and how do I find them.

Q: Hi

The CEO and director of ORT is leaving the company. Most probably pushed out.
Sounds like another positive step in a company that seemed to have so much potential 18 months ago.
How do you see this and does this change your opinion of ORT?

Q: This is not a question as much as a comment. GIL has been a long time hold and I agree with your comment "solid, well-managed company" but I rate it slightly higher than B personally. According to INK/TD; insiders have sold $15.5M with CFO selling $7.7M (some even as price dropping). Even tho I can't get my preferred Covered Call, I'll try to reduce my cost by a $1+ by selling some 4 5 wks. I know timing is not your thing but I thot some readers might like to read this. Great site. B

Power Fin has finally reached positive traction for me after several years under water receiving dividends only. Given your liking for SLF, would you swap PWF for that, stay as is or move proceeds to a bank or telecom? Portfolio is reasonably well-balanced.
