Q: Hello and Happy New Year!
I have a question regarding Keyera Facilities (KEY). 100 shares with a purchase price under $25/share. This is within a TFSA and is primarily for the dividend, however the recent run-up makes we wonder whether to cash out and look to re-purchase upon a pullback. Not sure what is pushing the price up currently or how sustainable the current share price is. If possible, thoughts or suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks!!

Q: Your comments on GLN in mid 2012 were: Big management credibility gap. May be a broken growth name .Street love-affair sours.
Aside from a decent price increase, has GLN improved in any other areas since then?

Q: With respect to the question by Terrance today, there seems to be a confusion with DD (New York) and DD (Toronto). The latter is the stock referred to in the 5i report, and has nothing to do with chemicals.

Q: Hi Peter and company I purchased a rather large number of shares of Automodular (AM), a company I had never heard of before I subscribed to your service. It has been a fantastic winner so thank you very much. But where is it going now? From my BMO recognia value analyzer, I see it has about 20M shares, no debt, 15m in cash and equivalents and an 8 % yield(approximate figures rounding price to $3). So it looks like it still has room to run. What do you think.

Thanks

Ross

Q: DCI recently announced the appointment of Brenda Hughes as CFO effective immediately, replacing Brian Kathol, who served for only 18 months. She is the sixth CFO since the company's IPO in December 2004.Should we be concerned about the appointment of a new CFO and the high level of turnover in this position, especially during the integration of two large international acquisitions?
Thank you.

Q: Hi, Peter and team: I'm considering taking a position in Richards Packaging (RPI.UN). Their 3rd quarter 2012 results gave a figure of 62% for payout ratio (up from 59% a year earlier). My discount broker shows Richards with a payout ratio of 149.80 (?). I'm having a bit of a problem with payout ratios. I don't know whether higher is good or bad. I'd appreciate any help in this area. Thanks, Dale

Q: Hi, guys. Any thoughts if riocan will be eager to pull the trigger on another acquisition if they lose out on primaris?

Secondly, do you see any other comparibles to pmz.un on the market. To me, par.un (partners reit) looks a little similar with their portfolio of shopping malls in secondary markets, but I could be totally wrong in this assessment.

And lastly, do you think this deal will re-rate companies with higher quality retail properties, even though they may own other asset classes as well (ie mrt.un)?

Thanks, as always.

Q: Hello 5i
It's the annual rebalancing time for me & I find myself at 60 yrs. old with a 51/48 % equity/fixed income mix. My equity mix is 78% Canadian & 21% US. I am considering reducing my Canadian holdings by 20% and would like some foreign exposure. Have held XIN in the past - would you have any other suggestions?
regards
Les

Q: Hi 5i: I hold CHR.b (chorus aviation) and have a nice profit in it. It has a wonderful dividend. My question is, is this a time to sell? Airlines are a tough business to be in and the price has been volatile.

Q: We purchased some share of H&R Reit in November. This morning it was announced that H&R have bid for the purchase of Primaris. Management claim that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity in Canada and that it will not increase the debt to buy. They also say that it will increase liquidity and growth of the company. The market seems to be negative about this news. What do you think of this deal?
Thanks to Peter and Team.

Q: I see the Q/A regarding HR.UN acquiring Primaris... But I have a questions as to why HR.UN stock would start the day negative on what I would find positive news? I have seen this in a few other transactions with other stocks where my initial thoughts would be awesome , but more times than not the opposite happens - am i thinking wrong? Do you have any insights as to why this happens - I'm still learning...
