Q: Hello,
I wanted to get your opinion on two companies, both with potential royalty cash flow within the next 18 months, strong cash position, good exploration teams and upside, low share count, etc. Altius Minerals and Virginia Mines.
Q: I would like your opinion of uf.un uranium energy fund. I believe uranium will recover soon and am looking to invest in it, also your views on uranium. Is the 1.1% management fee worth reasonable?
Thanks
Q: Hi team,
I have held CPG for a few years and the share price has gone nowhere, although I have collected nice dividends along the way. I have quite a high tolerance to risk and am considering a switch to TOU. Do you think this would be a good switch?
Keep up the good work
Q: ZDM ETF -international other than NA-made up of EU, Asia & MSCI EAFE Index- is this a good holding for international exposure. It has been going up even though the economies are in recession??
Q: HI.Very happy with your excellent help.I know you don't recomend buying junior gold stock NOW but if i still want to buy which one(few) would you prefer.
Q: I missed the recovery in lumber sector over the past year and a half but I see there has been a recent drop in lumber prices and a pull back in some of the stocks (i.e. West Fraser, Canfor). What are your thoughts on lumber prices moving forward and would this recent pull back be an opportunity to participate in this sector? If yes, any companies you would recommend?
Q: Re: dividend paying stocks and interest rates: thanks to 5i and Lance for the insight. This was a point I totally overlooked and is obviously an important one.
The Q&A is an excellent way to learn and I very much appreciate it!
Cheers,
Mike
Q: Peter, I have owned the ETF XRE (RRSP) for over 4 years and incl. reinvested dividends I have a gain of approx. 130%. REITS have been hit recently due to concerns about our real estate market (negative press as always) and > interest rates, I guess? Would you sell or keep-Reits should do well in a little higher int. rates as this would indicate a bit of inflation which should be good for fixed asset valuations-I would think?
Q: Peter; With the Telus current problems and the divvy stock rotation I am thinking of selling it and buying either BEP.UN or CIX? How would you see this switch? Thanks. Rod
