Q: Hi Peter
I am committing $15,000 of my TFSA money to a stock portfolio and would like to see growth & income. Could you recommend 5 stocks for the medium/long term, or should I have as much as 10 names?

Q: Hi Folks
I've been away and seem to have missed something. What is meant by the dividedn/REIT rotation. Are you saying investors are or will be moving out of dividend paying stocks?

Q: ENB is on a steady decline. It may have been a good idea to watch the charts and sold on the early stages of the downturn. Your thoughts on thet type of proactive action are appreciated. Perhaps it is good just to waether this decline and wait for improvement? The P/E is very high though.
Q: Hi Guys ,
I've noticed quite a drop off in A&W Restaurants - aw.un this week .
Just wondered if this was due to the recent market malaise or if there is something else going on in the company
Would this be a good time to add to a position . Cheers Keep up the good work !!

Q: Hi Peter - One of last year's issues of Moneysaver talked about several convertible debentures. Where would be the best place to get up-to-date information on this type of issue and do you have any specific recommendations. Thanks.
Q: In your model portfolio, I see that there is only one "real estate" holding (FSV). In this sector, I own two REITs in my RRSP and realize that my weighting is way out of whack: (14% in REF.UN and 12% in REI.UN.) I am gradually attempting to diversify my holdings, using stocks that you have chosen in the model portfolio, and would like to know which of my two REITs to keep (or if neither or if both) and what percentage REITs should be in a portfolio. I have done very well with both of these REITs, especially REF.UN, but it's a bit painful to see these two stocks dropping daily. Thanks for the great service you provide.
Q: Hi 5i Team,
Are all these reits still worth holding?
DI.UN, D.UN, MRG.UN, AX.UN, BTB.UN & CRR.UN.
Your opinion is much appreciated.
Henry

Q: Csh.un. A recent adivsor on BNN doesn't like Chartwell. "As they never adjusted their balance sheet, as all the other Cdn REITs have done, for the IFRS accounting changes".
Might this be an issue?
Thanks

Q: Magna (MG-T) keeps on pushing higher. Is the valuation getting stretched? Would you commit new money at this price point? Best, Don
Q: At this point would you trade BNS for VIG
Q: Do you have an updated opinion on AFN? I am holding a large position and have had a 10% gain since buying only a couple of months ago. Can we expect continued volatility and is the dividend sustainable? I'm wondering if I should trim my position and take the gains or keep for the dividend. Thanks for your continued help, you guys are great!
Q: WHAT WOULD BE YOUR FAVOURITE TWO U.S. STOCKS TO BUY TODAY? WE DO NOT NEED INCOME FROM THEM IF THIS MAKES A DIFFERENCE. THANYOU.
Q: Hi Peter I'd like to get your opinion on Seadrill. SDRL recently raised its dividend to yield 9%, has a PE of 17.6 and a PEG ratio of .44. An order backlog of 2.9 billion for 2013 and 4.5 billion for 2014. Though I do wonder about financing for their new builds.
Your thoughts on the company and industry ?
Thanks Garth

Q: Peter; Do you think either and/or both LULU announcements were " material" in nature? Thanks. Rod
Q: Hello - What are your thoughts on the U.S. health care sector at this time? There are a fair number of ETF's that have come off their recent highs. Is this sector worth considering at this time?Thank you for your sound advice. Joe
Q: Hi,
Could you please comment on whether it is better to hold XIT - S&P/TSX Capped Information Technology Index Fund
or just try to cherry pick among the 7 holdings(GIB.A,BB,OTC,MDA,CSU,CLS,WIN) there seems to be a good representation of 5i selections while the others seem to be
doing well or at least on the cusp. Thanks in advance

Q: With the recent bloodbath in the REIT sector, I've sold a handful of REIT holdings in our various portfolios. But have held on to the following despite the steep price declines: BTB, CSH, CUF, RMM and HLP. Do you see further declines with any of these? Are they likely to be fine in the long run? Our portfolios are reasonably diversified. Thanks.
Q: Hello Peter,
Do you have any advise on CTG (Global Minerals)? Recent drilling results on their silver/copper project in Slovakia appear to be quite encouraging. The infrastructure is there, initial capex is quite attractive, with production, I believe, to begin in for 2014. What do you think? Thanks for your continued invaluable insights.

Q: I would appreciate your thoughts on Dundee (D.UN) versus Cominar (CUF). They appear to have similar basics. Or do you have another recommendation in this area? Thanks in advance.
