Q: I'd appreciate your thoughts on Western Wind Energy's (WND) announcement that they will be selling the company.
I was going to buy back into the company when it was trading in the low to mid $1.20's but with a busy job and a busy summer I forgot.
Now I see it shoot up and I am regretting my lack of attention. However I'm loath to chase it.
The previous offer was around $2.5 and WND wants that as the low end and WND's assessed value as the higher end.
Does a company have any bargaining power after they refuse an offer, the stock drops lower, and then they decide to sell?? I look forward to your comments.
