Q: SUM question: Very happy to see Solium Capital on a big rise the last two days but no news to support it. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks.

Q: How do you view the chances of a competitor (or another company wanting AVO's technology) acquiring Avigilon? I believe in the past you said this was probably the end result for Avigilon.
It seems to have a unique technology offering and after a nearly 50% decline in the share price it would seem like an opportune time.
Thanks.

Q: Technically, SYZ looks like it is setting a slanted base - not surprising after such a run
I would appreciate your fundamental view on the company at this point. If all is the same (or better :-)) as a few months ago, I may start getting in
Thanks

Q: Hi 5i Team,
I just read an article about a satellite company offering a free tracking service for aircraft that fly over the sea: "U.K. satellite company Inmarsat is offering a free tracking service to all passenger airlines -- an issue that drew international attention after Malaysian Airlines' MH370 disappeared on March 8."
In your estimation, does this hurt Flyht's(FLY) prospects?
Robert

Q: Hi Peter & 5i Team,
Could you please give me your current opinion of Absolute Software (ABT) and the reasons why the stock price has moved from $7.79 from Oct 2013 to a low of $6.20 today. Is it a buy, sell or hold?
Thanks in advance
Francis

Q: I am considering an initial investment in ESL. My main reservation is the current valuation. It trades at a very high p/e, even for its growth rate. I like to buy with a margin of valuation safety. Is the valuation stretched at this point relative to its historical trading valuation.
Q: CMI Keeps dropping. Your thougts. Thank You Andy
Q: AVO I apologise for yet another Q on Avigilon. I watched the interview with the CEO on BNN just now. I am looking to enter the stock and have a question on the $500 mil. run he promised by 2016. I know you don't issue price estimates but could you quantify that number in relation to the stock today for me?
TIA

Q: hi folks, can please ask opinion & outlook after Q results for Halogen hgn/t,thanks as always
Q: Hi 5I team!

Q: Hello Peter & Team, what did you think of the Redknee (RKN) quarter just reported? Can we annualize the 5 cent quarterly eps and deduct 20 cents as the annual eps running rate (implying a 23 x PE ratio? What do you make of valuation? Many thanks, Keith
Q: Avigilon AVO
I recall the same comments being said about another fantastic growth stock, Poseidon Concepts.
-market leading technology
-high multiple growth stock
-huge earnings growth
The timing is way too coincidental having the CFO resign right before releasing earnings. Unless he`s dead, health reasons is a bunch of BS.
Peter, is your team able to dig deeper and recognize any red flags for accounting irregularities? I noticed inventories have increased and they also recently did a share issue. Could the share issue have been one final grasp for cash?
The market is rarely wrong, over the longer term. CFO departures alone should not drop a stock 20% after the announcement.

Q: Are AVO and HYG a hold, sell, or average down? In the case of AVO, how did they hide what appears to me to be ongoing problem? The stock was highly talked about and recommended in the media. In the case of HYG, I had a stop limit in at 4.12 - 4.06, which went through and continued down May 7th.
Your thoughts.

Q: Maybe management at AVO are not so naive at all. Maybe they wanted the stock to go down such that insiders could buy at cheaper prices. Just thinking.
Q: Hi Peter and Team, I would appreciate your assessment of SW. I have been watching this stock for the past few months and noticed it has fallen by about 20 percent. Are growth stocks in general taking a hit? Thanks
Q: SW-T Sierra Wireless
Looks like Investors didn't like 2Q guidance and are carrying some concerns as you said regarding lighter than expected margins.
I still like SW and the Sector plus am looking for some opportunities to buy low and sell high... which tends to be the opposite of what most of us do... who knows why...
Could you give me an idea if you were going to add a 2% portfolio position in SW, what price you would target - be comfortable with?
Thanks for all you do.
Gord

Q: Hello team,
FEYE (Fire Eye)fell by 25% today. It has been falling steadily over the past few weeks.
Yesterday on the webinar you mentioned that it wasn't wise to sit and wait for a stock to recover. Should I walk away with my 60% loss on this stock? Or is there hope in the future (ie a couple of years) once the company has the benefits of all the R&D spending? How about the growth in security technology from their competitors during the same time?
Thank you for all your calming insights....investment is not easy but it would be impossible without you.

Q: Hi,
As per below from Globe Investor, have you heard anything on why other executives have been leaving the company in the past?
Analysts - and certainly investors - are sounding the alarm over Avigilon Corp. after it announced late Tuesday the third senior executive departure in the last six months. Shares are down 17 per cent in early TSX trading today.
The security solutions provider said chief financial officer Bradley Bardua left the company because of health concerns and that Wan Jung, a director, has been named interim CFO.
"We think the timing of Mr. Bardua's departure (one day before the fiscal first quarter 2014 earnings report, could not hold on for another day) is too coincidental for comfort," said Raymond James analyst Steven Li. "We believe Bardua was well thought of by the Street – and so this will be seen as a loss."
His "outperform" rating and $35 (Canadian) price target were both placed under review.
Chris Ross, executive vice-presdent of global operations, left in March of this year and Keith Marett, an executive in charge of marketing and product strategy, resigned in November 2013.
The company is expected to release its latest earnings after market close today. The consensus is for earnings per share of 14 cents, on revenues of $56.3-million.
Thanks.

Q: I have a follow up to my last question on Imris. I am almost ready to pull the trigger on this one. Your last answer to my question put you in the not buy camp, however I have a 3-5 year time frame and these prices just seem like a great time to get in. My hesitation is around their cash levels. I was looking at their annual report and cash is very low plus they borrowed 25M that has to start repayment in 2015. So I guess to summarize what would you peg the percentage chance of this company going to 0? i'm okay if it drops from here as i have a long time frame but if they can't survive well that's another story. is the downside risk that high? thank you for the great service you provide.
