Q: Intrinsyc released 2015 preliminary results this morning and the fourth quarter looked outstanding. Since they changed their business model 2 years ago they have been consistently EBITDA positive and now revenues and EBITDA are growing rapidly. Other than risks of still being small, ITC is in a fast growing tech space. Is the market going to start picking up on this as the stock looks inexpensive still.

Q: Hello,
SWKS has been a top pick over the last two months twice by Bruce Tatters on BNN. Unfortunately, I own this stock and it continues to escalate on the down side. I get bits of negative information from my Itrade account about it. However, you will know a lot more about it than I do. Should I take my losses?

Q: I am invested in this interesting company that seems to be in the right space but the shares seem sluggish. Should I hang on for the longer term?
Q: Could you please comment on Sylogist results released this morning? There was a mention of "accelerating growth in US market" and "one acquisition target we know well is our own company". How would you explain these notes? Thanks
Q: Re; Canadian tech sector, could you discuss/compare SH and KXS...thanks
Q: I cannot find any reason for KXS's +5.5% rise happening now.
Any input?

Q: Your thoughts on Sandvines earnings report today & initiation of dividend. Love the service Thank you If asked, answered & posted already pls disregard.
Q: Thank you for the ESL recommendation. I bought it in the mid $40's and it is now just above $70. What do you think of the valuation at the moment? I am thinking of selling half of my position, thoughts?
Q: My son is starting to build is TFSA portfolio but, as yet, owns no technology stock. Which technology stock would you recommend for a hold of at least 1 year (who knows when he will need the money)? Any of the above or something different. Since he is not an experienced investor, stability is a consideration. Thank you and HNY to your whole team (it is a self-serving wish: if your year is good, it is likely to benefit all of your members)
Q: what is your appraisal for Microsoft. short and long term. thanks
Q: We have done well with Enghouse - I company I would never have heard of without 5i. Thank you.
Our weighting in Enghouse has reached 8.3%. This is due to ESL's stock price increase plus the declines in Energy, Materials, Financial & Utility sectors. Is it time to reduce ESL's weighting to 7% or not sell and hope for a recovery in the other sectors? If I were to sell I would probably increase our weighting in MDA to 5% or open a 2% weighting in XTC or KXS.

Q: Hello Peter and 5i team members,
I have CGI group in my portfolio representing about 4% of my RRSP account. Now I would like to add 1 or 2 names in IT sector to bring up my sector weighting to about 10 to 15%. Could you please provide some recommendations for a long time holding (say 5 to 10 years)? Thanks.
Wish you and every one of your team a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Q: I am looking for a Canadian ETF that tracks the Nasdaq and one that tracks the Russell 2000. I am looking for a product that is not hedged to the Canadian dollar. From what I gather this is not available.
Q: Hello 5i team.
I submitted a question within the past week, and mentioned I was down 10% it is actually over 20% and your stock answer was "it is up 40% in a year". I don't quite understand that statement when my purchase price was $29.00 in June/15.
I cannot really see how this was ever up 40%, and I feel if a stock falls from a high of $32.00 to $21.00 that something has happened within this company. "Just sayin"
Can you advise how oftain you actually reach out to management of the companies that you recommend.
Thanks and really do appreciate your service

Q: Currently down on this one 10% now, and read you last reply of Nov.17-. For whatever reason tax selling must be out of the way by now, and I cannot find anything good on this one. I have read some tweets of insider selling, and wonder if I should cut my loses before it gets worse, and get on with life. I really hate selling at such large loses, but seems to be the story of my life lately.
Q: What do you guys think of this company?
