Q: what do you think of twin butte energy? It has been recommended by Irwin Michael and the 10% dividend "appears" to be safe.

Q: I see that you are advising people to avoid purchasing RPL at this time. I have a small position and wonder if I should sell and cut my losses?

Q: Hi Peter and Team, regarding Novus, NVS, I just read that Hong Kong Economics Times has a blurb about Yanchang Petrolium International Ltd wanting to fully acquire NVS for 500 million Cdn 'according to market sources'! Have you heard this through your sources by any chance? If possibly true, then would this value NVS shares at about 2.20 cdn per share (after debt repayment) or have I miss calculated? Is it just another rumour or will NVS be required to halt the stock and report on this if there's some truth to it? Your thoughts on this before markets open would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Q: Hi Peter and team I have a comment and question re: Zargon. I last asked about this in May. Over the year I have been accumulating shares and I am now in a profit position up 5 % in one a account and over 12% in another. This was quite painful for a while as the shares kept going down. Recently the shares have been in pronounced upturn - almost exponential. My thesis was for once and at least temporarily proven correct: that the shares would rebound once we approached the start up of their new Enhanced Oil Recovery Project (EOR) in 2014 which is a company maker(breaker) . However since I have quite a bit of money here do you think it is time to cash in some or all of these holdings? Also would the expenditures on their EOR project have led to your statement that the all-in payout ratio was 150 % in your August 13 comment? Thanks

Ross

Q: Hi any comments from Novus ( NVS) earnings this morning? Also I see they have been granted an extension to hold their AGM until October 24, looks like a potential takeover is pending, any thoughts? Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter and Team, if Lightstream, LTS, formerly Petrobakken, PBN, was to cut its dividend payout by 50% or more and/or if the DRIP was cancelled then would that materially affect the current stock price to move in a positive direction? Wouldn't this be in the best interest of all shareholders? Why not cut the dividend substantially for now, while oil prices are high, take a hit, which they already are in terms of share price anyway, and start paying down debt much faster while oil prices are co-operating? Seems as though this would only help the share price for the long term! Thanks!

Q: CWC
Hi Peter, the service rig companies are all doing well because of the amount of oil wells drilled. An oil well requires more workovers and servicing than natural gas wells. Also with crude oil prices high the producers need to have the flow rates on a well to be maximized. What do think of buying CWC at current price because the yield is over 8%?

Q: I bought STP quite some time ago (small position) when it was at 1.69. It fell to 0.30 but has recently moved up to 0.40. Would it be a good idea to buy some more now to recoup my loss or do you think it won’t go much higher?

Also what are your thoughts on buying SU, CPG and WCP?

Thanks!
