Q: With some shareholders suggesting this merger not go ahead and KLG should show more interest in the offers, would you consider nmi a buy for the break fee?

Q: I've been nibbling away at TV for a while and it has rewarded me nicely. On seeing their latest Q, along with the New Brunswick mine coming into production, I was a little surprised to see the stock sink a little. I think it's just regular market noise, but I thought I'd check to see if there was other news. Is there any, and how would 5i interpret their latest results?
Q: Hi Peter & team
Now that the camp is in place and power lines to be completed this 4th quarter. What are your thoughts on PVG and a half position at this time?

Q: Pdn Paladin Energy Do you think this stock could go to zero?
Q: i am still having difficulty understanding the klg situation, i took a position in klg.
the offer from silver standard is for 12.76 a share, they proposed this to klg 3 times and klg refused each time.
why would any shareholder vote for the merger of equals with the australian company which would do zero for the stock and keep the stock around 8 dollars-- it does not add up. please explain. dave

Q: In anticipation of inflation I am planning to buy some gold stock/ETFs. Above I listed some of the Gold stocks I am interested, which one of them would you recommend or do you have another suggestion.
Thanks
Thanks

Q: Do you like the prospects of base metals, even after the recent run up?
What do you think of Xbm at these levels? It's nearly doubled in the past few months. Would you wait for a pullback before entering?
Alternatively, should I buy a basket of 4-5 stocks, and which might you recommend?
Thx

Q: do not own klg, why are they so insistent in refusing to enter into discussions with silver standard, it looks like there offer values company at around 12 dollars a shares, with shares maybe opening at 8.50 would you be a buyer, my question is only in relation to this company being in play. dave
Q: Would you please clarify the latest news on Kirkland Lake Gold? I no longer know who is selling what to whom, or who's buying what. Is there a new player altogether in this? It was halted on Friday, but now open for trading and up again, modestly. (I'm starting to feel like I'm in a David Lynch movie with this one, waiting for the dwarf to appear in my dream and read the signs for me.)
Thanks for your help, as always!

Q: The recent quarter saw eps. at -0.03 cents per share and low mining volume. There is no explanation on this. The stock has gone done from recent highs of 4.25 to 3.25. Is this a good entry point or is it time to exit. Thanks to 5i excellent service.
Q: A general question about the drop in Gold prices. It seems from the crystal ball gazers that if Trump spends like crazy that this will fuel inflation which should be good for gold. Why the disconnect?
Q: Is this a good time to buy FNV?
Q: Hello 5i Team,
I have a hard time understanding the recent drop of Gold and, in contrast, the sharp rise in base metals. I thought the former was a hedge against uncertainty and inflation and the latter to be a reflection of supply & demand.
Thanks,
Antoine

Q: Would you please provide an update on your opinion of this company. About six months ago you indicated that you were concerned about its debt levels. Has the situation improved since then? Do you have any new concerns? I have a very small position in it and was considering supplementing it depending upon your response. Alternatively, considering its risk level do have any others in this field that you would prefer?

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
Lately I have been reading about the coming " Debt Crisis" as every country is printing money from thin air to avoid a recession. However for numerous reasons I believe we are probably setting ourselves up for something much worse...I am not a gold or silver bug but I think the time has come to create some protection so I can sleep better at night and when I happens I will not be upset with myself for being so rigid and denying reality. So please give me your opinion on a couple of junior gold and silver stocks that are of good value now and for the long term! Thanks for your reliable and consistently excellent insights!

Q: I hold NSU. Other than TCK what would be other good plays that could benefit from the rise in copper prices?
Thanks

Q: Could we have your comments on Richmont Mines, considering latest earnings report and the market reaction? Is it still a long term hold? Thank you
Q: Greetings,
Capstone is down a fair bit today on big volume yet copper prices are on a tear. I suspect this is market reaction to their hedging announcement. Do you agree? What do you think of their hedging approach? Thanks a lot.
