Q: Magna's executive compensation has always been a controversial subject and the company spills about one third the ink in its 90 page Proxy Circular justifying it, though judging by share performance, perhaps they're worth it, particularly Don Walker. I don't see the Stronach names anywhere in this document; are they still involved in any way with the company and how many shares do they still own? Also would it be reasonable to look for a share split in future? Thanks, J.

Q: Why has WIN.TO gone up so much the last few days? I can't find any info why. Time to sell a half position and invest in something better like SJ.TO or should I get rid of all of it? My average is $3.97 and with the dividend I don't lose to much.

Q: GLN Glentel. Looks like investors are throwing in the towel on GLN today. One has to go back 2 years to get a comparable low! Surely things can't be that bad? Is it?

Q: Greetings 5i Team. I am currently trying to add more CORE holdings to my portfolio. (Companies that I will hold indefinitely and add to on market pullbacks). After looking at your 'income portfolio" I would consider the following to be core holdings: Bank of Nova Scotia, BCE, Loblaws, Sun Life, and Telus. My plan is to add all of them to my portfolio. My questions are:
1. Am I correct in assuming the above mentioned companies are core holdings?
2.Do you consider others in your 'income portfolio to be core?
3. Which of these companies would be the best buys at current valuations?

Q: GH - There were 23,501,666 Shares issued and outstanding as at March 31, 2014. Of this amount, 13,182,615 Shares constitute the "public float", calculated in accordance with the rules of the TSX. What is the "public float" and where are the other 10 mill. shares? Where can I find info on share buybacks? or do you have info on buy-back history of GH? Thank You

Q: re: CVL Cervus Equip

Trading Volume remains considerably off (65%) daily averages and value is down 10% in past 60 days with the majority of that drop taking place mid March. It has now been holding where it is for the last 6 weeks.

Any update since we last looked at it beginning of April? Would you consider this a buy or hold?

Thanks for all you do

Gord

Q: CF is up substantially today. Could you please explain their press release "Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. discloses cancellation of shares acquired under normal course issuer bid/buy-back programme and total voting rights". Is this the reason for the increase? I'm somewhat confused. Thanks as always for the great work you're doing.

Q: TCN - Tricon Capital
The company has just announced that they have added manufactured homes to their portfolio. The market didn't accept too well, price fell, and has been falling for some time now, and perhaps trying to recover. I purchased at it's high of $8. do you see it ever reaching this level again? Your thoughts of the company?
Thanks for your great service!
Thanks,
Brenda
