Q: I have been considering taking a position in First Service Corp. (FSV)and one of the things that I like to look at is insider buys and sells. Over the last 6 or so weeks there has been substantial insider selling. I realize that insiders sell for a variety of reasons, some of which may be for their own reasons rather than Corporate developments, but the selling recently has been quite significant, which makes me hesitant about adding this company to my portfolio. It would appear that insiders are not confident about further share appreciation from current levels. Your comments would be appreciated.

Q: Re: BPF.UN
Boston Pizza is down about 5% since it was decided that importing cheese and pepperoni was no different than importing cheese and was an affront to the Quebec dairy lobby. Do you feel this is a temporary or longterm setback? I note that PZA has fared better.

Q: Thanks to your reviews I bought XTC Exco a while back and have done very well with it. Its recent announcement has given a nice bounce to the stock today and I wonder if its getting ahead of itself.
Its now 6% of my portfolio and its been my policy to start to trim back although with this one I'm considering letting it run up and trim back at 8%. My time horizon is 5 years plus.
Would appreciate your thoughts and do you see any change in your current rating.
Many thanks
John

Q: Peter and Team. All the best for the holidays and continued success in 2014. Any idea what might be going on at K-Bro Linen (KBL). 5% move up in a day is unusual. Many thanks, Keith

Q: Hi Peter,
In your reply to Marc, Nov 29th, you were comfortable with the price of STN at $68 given its growth and fundamentals. Morningside estimates earnings of $3.17 for 2013 giving a p/e of 21.5. Their estimate for 2014 is only $3.57 a growth of 13%. I am wondering what kind of growth in earnings you would estimate for 2014, and what p/e is reasonable.
Many thanks
Mike

Q: Hi Peter,
My question is about CSU and where you think this stock could potentially be in 6 to 12 months from know; providing there is no negative news to pull down the stock; if i remember correctly from a forecast earlier this year, the forecast was for the $220 range, which it has already hit.
thanks hugh
